Just breaking it down for you. One more thing, even if you were correct, and you priced keys at 8 refined today and it'd be totally acceptable to do so, your trade would still be closed, because it still violates all three things on my list. You're still misleading people, you're still advertising, and you're trade would still devolve into a forum due to the contents of your trade, and it would still be rightfully reported.

Dude, let me make a list of what you did wrong: - Misleading trade Putting 2.33 up there to intentionally trick people and gloat at is against the rules - Advertising Kind of self explanatory, you were advertising a non-trade-related link in your post. The only links you can post as far as I recall is for trade offers and links to your other open trades. - "Encouraging users to protest by creating troll and misleading trades. This is a trading website, not a forum." Finally, last thing is what the Outpost Moderator said when he closed the trade. You were rallying people to a cause that would manipulate prices to get keys down. Even if it was a rally to get prices to go up, it'd still be closed since it's still price manipulation. On top of that, no one was even offering, just talking about the state of the economy, that's all fine and dandy, but it's the wrong place to do it, which brings me to the second part of the sentence: This is a trading website, not a forum. And that's exactly what it says, reply boxes are for offering on trades, nothing more. If you want to discuss the current state of the economy or whatever then do it in the backpack.tf forums, SPUF, here, I don't care. But, Outpost is meant for trading, you post your trade and what's for sale at what price, and that's it, nothing else. I don't care if you turned out to be "right" after almost a year, but at the time, your post was ridiculous and was rightfully closed for violating the rules, and I'm proud of whoever closed it for doing his/her job.

wait... you've used the name john caveson all this time without having beaten portal 2? No I got the XBox version, so I've already technically beaten the game, just not on PC.

Well, just finished Portal 2 and got the Bionic Beanie to wear for Atlas and P-Body. Speaking of which, if any of you want to go through the co-op campaign sometime this weekend, just hit me up.

My final haul is basically the same last time I posted. I just got the Orange Box and Portal 2. Then I just got a few TOD tickets a key, and a Secret Saxton to get rid of the leftover monies.

I have spent ~$110-$115 on a total of 6 purchases on TF2 since I got my new Steam account from January from last year. 1st purchase in late January that got me to premium was $32.39 and I got the Hi-Five Taunt. Next purchase which was in May of last year was $14.40 and I did this one over the online store to get the Mann Co. Online cap. I got several BP Expanders to bump my BP to 1000 slots and a Robocrate Key (since this was when Robotic Boogaloo was all the rage). 3rd Purchase was on my birthday last year where I got a few mapstamps to get the World Traveler's Hat and keys for a total of $9.93 4th purchase was during the Xmas sale and was my biggest purchase yet (because why not it's Xmas) with a whopping $44.84 where I got the Shred-Alert taunt, the Ap-Sap, and several Nice & Naughty 2013 keys 5th Purchase was the day after my 4th for $5.95 where i got iirc 3 TOD Tickets a Squad Surplus Voucher, a Secret Saxton, and a Medi-Mask when they were all on sale. The TOD tickets were to go with my free one I got from Valve for Xmas so I could complete the Two Cities Tour. Finally my most recent purchase was just a few days ago, where I got a key, a Secret Saxton, and some TOD Tickets so I can complete yet another Two Cities Tour. All for $6.45. And that's all I have so far. When I punch those numbers into my calculator, I get a happy face. (but seriously, I'm too lazy to do that right now, so if anyone can calculate that for my, I'll be thankful)
