    Borderlands

I'm stuck on the mission with the Bosun... Just got out of the Engine Room, and the objective is the one for Forcefield Controls... swept every corner of the ship and couldn't find the way in. Oh, also... Loving all the Australianness and the blatant racism (no sarcasm, it's frickin' hilarious)

    Borderlands

I picked up my copy today, level 6, just defeated Deadlift or whatever his name was (the jump pad guy with the lazer weapon, goldfish memory), picked up his key but I haven't gone to Zoomy Moom Station yet. Claptrap, I got the Subordinates for Gun and Defense, as well as the first Drop the Hammer point, and I'm really enjoying the luck of the subordinate draw. Thoughts so far: Pros: The writing, I've found, has been rather funny While it is theoretically just BL2 in space, the O2 thing actually does add something new as opposed to making it all the same, same with the lazer weapons. Storyline seems to be solid Getting the loyalty bonus guns was a good idea Cons: IF THEY DON'T HAVE A SKIN FOR CLAPTRAP WHICH IS THE SPIKED TAYLOR KOBB CLAPTRAP I WILL BE PISSED One mission, Tales of Elpis, the one that was hanging off the edge, that was really damn hard. No Marcus so far No Zed so far (who is this new Doctor Nina? My mum is Nina, surely it won't be her) EDIT: Not sure how I feel about the lazer from Deadlift, the Luftwaffe or whatever it was called

ALL SUPPORTERS OF NFL/GRIDIRON/AMERICAN FOOTBALL/HANDEGG, THIS IS JARRYD HAYNE, THE WINNER OF THE DALLY M MEDAL FOR THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NATIONAL RUGBY LEAGUE, QUITTING RL FOR A TRIAL IN YOUR SPORT. Jarryd Hayne has sensationally announced he will quit the NRL to play NFL in the United States. Emotional Hayne explains NRL departure Daley: Hayne holds a special place Hayne advised to keep low profile NRL statement on Jarryd Hayne Twitter reacts to Hayne's announcement Hayne, a dual Dally M Medallist and one of the game's genuine superstars, has already withdrawn from Australia's Four Nations squad. He is yet to secure a contract with an NFL franchise, but has accepted a conditional release from Parramatta to pursue his dream to play American football. In a letter to Eels members, the 26-year-old explained to fans why he has made the decision to leave the game and the club. "It’s always been a dream of mine to play in the NFL, and at my age, this is my one and only chance at having a crack at playing there," Hayne said. "I’m excited about the potential opportunities that lie ahead. I’ve known the deadline has been looming for me to make this call, and I believe the right time is now." Given the NFL season has already started, it's unlikely the NSW and Kangaroos star would be able to play for at least another 12 months. Hayne assured supporters that should he return to the NRL, he will wearing blue and gold. "I'm leaving knowing that I have signed a ‘lifetime agreement’ with the Eels, so if I return to the NRL, it will be to Parramatta," Hayne said. "It hasn’t been an easy decision for me to leave the Eels, the club’s been my home and family since I was 13, and I’ve always been proud to pull on the Blue and Gold jersey with my teammates. The hardest thing about leaving the club is there’s stability for the first time in a long time, but I know where my heart lies and I’m following that." Read the full letter here on the Parramatta Eels website. Hayne fronted a press conference shortly after announcing his decision, claiming the transition wouldn't be plain sailing. "It's a challenge. Life is a gamble. It isn't going to be easy. This isn't going to be an easy transition and this is why it has taken this long to happen. "I think I'm done [with rugby league]. I think for myself and for the club I think it is appropriate to move on to a new chapter in my life. "I feel like I have done everything in the game. "I'll give myself 12 months. This time next year the NFL will be in-season and I'll know whether I'll be on a roster or not."

A bit of a long article but good read. How James Graham gave an 11-year-old boy a grand final memory he'll cherish forever Supporters for life: Ali Jawad with his extended family of Bulldogs fans. Photo: Britta Campion Losing the NRL grand final may have been one of the lowest points of James Graham's career but the fearless Canterbury prop overcame his disappointment to provide an 11-year-old boy with a gift he'll treasure forever. Ali Jawad, his father Richard, uncle Malik and other family members stood behind a barrier of police to clap the beaten Bulldogs as they disembarked their team bus at midnight and, to their shock, Graham headed straight for the boy, pulled a towel from his bag and after handing it over, farewelled him with his trademark wink, before ruffling his hair and giving his famous thumbs up. When Graham rejoined his teammates, Ali was stunned to discover the bounty that he'd received. Soft spot: Bulldogs front man James Graham. Photo: Christopher Chan "I opened the towel and saw his jersey ... it had the date of the grand final printed on it ... and his socks and shorts were also wrapped up in it, too," said Ali, who plays halfback for St Johns Eagles. "It is something I'll keep forever." Advertisement That vow was tested minutes after he opened the towel with his uncle Malik "Mal" Saadi offering to buy the battle-worn strip off him for $3000. "It's priceless," Ali said. "James Graham has always been my favourite player. He's tough and I really admire him. I'll never forget his big hit on Sam Burgess." Proud as punch: Bulldogs and James Graham supporter Ali Jawad. Photo: Britta Campion Ali's uncle Mal said Graham's gesture will long be remembered as an incredible act of warmth and friendship by him and his family who are all devout Bulldogs supporters. "I have seen James Graham a few times because we go to the same dentist and he strikes me as a really good bloke," he said. "We wanted people to know what he did, it was such a great thing for him to give a kid his grand final jersey. I just don't know if James knows what it meant." Graham's playing gear isn't the only grand final memory he no longer has in his possession. The Englishman no longer has his runner-up medal. When contacted by Fairfax Media and asked whether he had either given or thrown away the medal he was presented with after the loss to Souths, Graham replied: "I think the phrase chose not to keep it is a better way to put it." With Michael Ennis linking up with Cronulla, Graham will come into strong contention to take over as Bulldogs captain. In Ennis' absence, he shared the captaincy duties in the grand final loss to South Sydney. Read more: http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/c...#ixzz3FqMhAEa6
