Last night's update was great. Fixed Dragon's Fury projectile fucking itself with collisions, fixed weapon switch Stick det bug, fixed the Backburner being able to deal crits not from the back, updated the Pocket Pistol to give health based on the damage it deals, updated Thermal Thruster Mantreads to deal not-shitty damage. Oh and also the loading screen now says "Duels Won" and not "Duels Won The Season"

Having a minority character just to have a minority character is dumb, because then they become a mockery in themselves. A great example of a minority character in video games done right is Demoman. Demoman's character is as far as possible from being centered around the fact that he's black. There is not a single line of dialogue in the game that makes reference to his race. He could be white and his character would still be exactly the same: a drunken, one-eyed, Scottish demolitions expert. That is how you do it.

I understand that the Hot Hand is a joke weapon, but it's such a fucking bad joke weapon. The fact that it swings twice in one click, each swing contributing half of the total already penaltied damage, is what cripples it in my opinion.

Read for daily dose of existentialism. On an honest note, well written. I empathize. I personally have never found myself stuck in a rut trying to find the meaning of life and purpose; the closest I can relate is that I do not enjoy doing nothing. As in just sitting around not really doing anything. Not because I constantly need distraction from some profound and potentially grim truth of existence, but because I just don't like wasting time. I could sleep in bed all day as it is the weekend, or I could sweep the house and feel proud looking upon these clean ass floors every day. That's time put to good use.

Soldat fucking amazes me. If you haven't heard of Soldat, it's a free side-scrolling multiplayer shooter than came out in 2002. Today it has a rather sizeable and dedicated playerbase considering those things, and the developers make no money off of it and continue to supply it with updates after 15 years, albeit on a rather on and off schedule. In recent months, it's been receiving a complete graphical overhaul (the game had graphics straight out of 2000, which weren't even that great for their time), enhanced and easier server support, and a Discord to replace the outdated IRC channel. Checked just now, 48 players online, and 83 servers. Not bad for a free downloadable 15 year old computer game.

The Saxxies were announced yesterday! Deadline March 8th. Plenty of time, unlike last year. If I recall, this is the first time the Saxxies weren't in November or December?
