    Continuing off of Portal 2, I have now beaten all of Half Life 2. What a cliffhanger to end on, surprised I remained spoiler-free these 10 years.

      I refused to read it until I beat Half Life 2, but I did read the tweet from Mark Laidlaw, saying how that's only one possible ending that could've happened, or later have been scrapped.

       

      I liked the idea in the tweet of his about another ending being Gordon ending up right back at the beginning of Half Life, then he could stop the shit before it ever happened and the Earth's ecosystem would not get perma-fucked by invasive alien creatures and Combine.
