Also, it'd take a long time for improved crafting to pay for itself. It's like 56k and it'll only save you about 10 grand on average per weapon mod. Skill points are a more valuable resource than anything in the game, just because they're limited while money is not. I can sit in a rats ovk and crank out 2 mil, but I can't get a few skillpoints from anything besides leveling up. I don't completely blame anyone for taking it though. Technician has so much fucking filler, you either take improved crafting, the t1/t2 skills, or

Money is useless later on in payday. If I could trade in my 14 million for 4 skill points, you bet your ass I would. Improved crafting doesn't even save you that much either.

It's always best to host your own games. The player base of payday is awful considering the rampant hacking and easily abusable kick system.
