No theme because I'm a lazy asshole and I challenge you to tie this shit together. Explanations:

The orbital cannon isn't a problem, you use it once for the cheevo then never again unless you have hacker bucks - I don't think even whales would pony up that much cash. Even then it's an hour between shots. Anyone that is semi-competent could grab a Laser from the military base, call Lester and go off the radar for $500 and do the exact same thing as the cannon only with no cooldown.

I can't recall anytime I've actually been griefed and pissed about it, but I can remember a few times anti-griefing systems have ruined things for me. Like in GTA I'll be minding my own business and some guy will kill me for no reason. Fair enough, I suppose, let's have a fight then. Well, he's in passive mode now so I can't do anything. If I stay around he'll just stay in it, if I leave to do other shit he'll follow me and leave passive mode and kill me again. Or I could go passive mode myself but then I wouldn't be able to do half the shit in the game. One of the weirdest anti-griefing systems I've seen has to be EU4's option to "prevent nation ruining". I can't imagine how much of a butthurt ragebaby your host must think you are if he turns that thing on. Besides you can ruin shit plenty well enough without doing those things.

Another problem with Fallout 76 is that its PvP mechanics are unplayably bad. Permanent radar is bad enough but you can only start a fight by doing 10% of your damage to someone else, who then can shoot back... dealing full damage. And if you happen to kill them with a 10% shot you get marked as a bad boy and your gameplay experience is shit for the next hour. Todd and the people writing the articles say that this will help prevent griefing, but they're full of shit. People are gonna be running around with low health so any shot will kill them and their killer gets fucked over - I don't know how you can design this system and not see that happening. And if you actually want a fight you're at a major disadvantage since shooting first is always a bad idea. Either make it full PvP or just make it full PvE, not this lame shit.

Reminds me of those "20 games in 3 minute" type of flash games. I was gonna watch the series and outline it for the class but I got halfway through and realized it sucked really bad since 90% of it was high school shenanigans filler. I got around 25 Nitain in my inventory, me and my friends stockpiled a good bit in anticipation of Chroma Prime. We all thought he would be outrageously expensive like Vauban, but were surprised when he turned out to be el cheapo. Damn shame he didn't get a rework because he only has one good ability, though.
