After months of arguing about it, my dad has finally conceded that yes, the lawn mower may be slightly broken. Counting it as a win.

[spoiler2][/spoiler2] Anyways, I've been playing a lot of the Yogscast Complete pack on a server, it's this enormous mod pack that has something like 200+ mods on it-everything from nuclear reactors to like 5 different types of magic and pretty much anything else you can think of. It's really fun, even if I have no idea what I'm doing at all. Currently trying to get started in Ars Magica, but I'm probably going to take a break from that to do some Tinkers Construct to get better tools. Anyone else use any huge mod packs like this? Also if you know anything about Ars Magica/Genetics/Tinkers Construct, I'd love advice. I have no idea what I'm doing at all.

Wow. Not sure if he'll see play in Standard at all, but Green these days is doing alright for ramp. And now that Urborg's getting a reprint...it's possible. But he's definitely EDH playable, holy crap. Never thought we'd see a four-ability walker again. Wow.

Decided to take a break from Codex Alera after watching World War Z to reread the book...I'm kinda depressed about it. Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie. But the book is sooooo much better, not to mention that the two have nearly nothing in common. I wish that the movie had used the whole multiple-viewpoints narrative, instead of just another generic action hero thing. And goddamn it, why did they cut the fucking battle of Yonkers?!

Just a tip-you can jump on the back of the frog bomb and get away before he blows up if you're quick enough. You can use this to get across spikes, water, you name it.

I've bought Battleblock Theater (and a few of the premium/really rare faces for it, they're like 5 cents each) and Rogue Legacy. This is by far the least I've spent on a steam sale yet, lol.

Just finished my yearly rereading of Stephen King's The Stand, which is my absolute favorite book of all time. It's simply one of the greatest pieces of literature I've ever read. Right now, I'm reading the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher, who's pretty well-known for writing the Dresden Files (another of my favorite series). It's kinda like Avatar: The Last Airbender meets Rome meets the Flood from Halo. It's nifty.

I actually played that game for shits and giggles, and honestly, the fact that they never took the needle out of Snivy's head after "rescuing" him bothered me more than the overall message. YOU'RE JUST AS BAD AS THE REST OF THEM, PIKACHU! SNIVY'S TRIPPING BALLS OVER THERE AND YOU'RE JUST GOING ON ABOUT HOW POKEMON ARE ALL TREATED POORLY. WELL MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE YOU CAN'T FIGURE OUT THAT NEEDLES IN HEAD=BAD. God, it's a miracle you haven't accidentally killed Ash yet.

Rogue Legacy and Battleblock Theater get. Battleblock's so much fun, holy crap. Rogue Legacy's one of the toughest games I've ever played.

The Steam market fairy must've come during the night, because when I got up this morning I had sold everything that I had listed, and had exactly 15 bucks in my steam wallet. Awww yeah.

The new sniper rifle is obscenely hard to use, holy shit. Mostly because when you start charging the shot, a lazor comes out and it's just enough off to the side of my crosshair that it just screws me up. It looks and sounds amazing though.

Whoo! Also, fairly predictable sales. Probably gonna pick up Battleblock immediately, then I'll probably wait for Rogue Legacy to drop to 75%. Anyone notice how barely any of the early access games are on sale? Like, the Forest and Stomping Ground and shit like that. And yet they're STILL at the top of the best sellers chart. Kinda stupid.
