We're doing it again! https://imgur.com/a/TkQGU The Gunlance from Monster Hunter is one of my favorite weapons because its just so novel. Between the constant explosions and its invulnerable shield, you feel like the one guy driving an MI Abrams tank in a group of foot soldiers.

http://imgur.com/a/OWKUE   I've been doing this for the past few days!   Tomorrow, I use an electric saw to cut this basic outline. After that, I take the hand saw and just start carving out the sword's edge, along with all the odd shapes around the handle. Then, I'll use a knife to get all the details, then sand it all down.   When the shaping is all done, I'll cover it with a layer or two of either spackle or glue to fill up the foam and give it a smooth surface, then paint it and then done!   I probably won't make any clothing or armor, but it does feel weird going around with just a weapon.

How retarded would I be if I attempted to make this? A 3foot length/1inch dimeter aluminum rod is roughly $20, and my Sven sword didn't split down the middle or anything so I know I can make it not-break.   Bonus points if I make it collapse like a real gunlance (Stupidly difficult until I find a good hinge, then it's suddenly stupidly easy), and if I make the ammo chamber spin (which is easy if I just make it a separate piece attached on the metal rod inside)

I just saw mad max, too! Sometimes I just like a mindless action flick every so often and god damn this may be the best one I've seen so far. I still can't get over how awesome the weaponry and vehicles are.

So I'm really fucking confused. I wanted to play some Phantom Hourglass again, so I put it into my N3DS and gave it a whirl, starting a new game. It crashed when I entered the temple of the ocean king. O...okay? No nintendo game has never crashed for me. It was corrupted, and no DS at all could recognize it as a game. Ordered a used one from Amazon for $18 - same thing. Froze after I got the second Sea Chart. My 3DS wouldn't turn off until I took out the cartridge. I put it back in, and it ran fine - except I haven't saved in quite a while.
