this game is baller if you find a pvp multiplayer server it's hella fun here's some tips i've discovered: - best melee is the sledgehammer; a regular hit to the head will one-shot any zombie and it has long range for a melee weapon; it can also demolish player structures with its power swings - the lever-action shotgun is one of the more user-friendly weapons; fast reload and no need to micromanage ammo boxes or clips, just stacks of shells - if you can find it at one of the farms, the crossbow is hella good too, with ultra-common ammunition and being totally silent with a 6x zoom scope, but its very slow reload makes it poor for pvp if you don't outright kill them, but you can attempt a few shots due to its silence - by far the best weapon in the game is the timberwolf, a sniper rifle with a 20x zoom scope and gaurenteed instant kills on headshot and 8 shots to a clip; however, you can't put any barrel attachments like silencers or flash hiders on it and it weighs 8.8 pounds so you better prioritize around it; it's also rare as hell, most likely found at the helicopter crash on the island in the center of the map - MREs are the best food, recovering 80% hunger AND thirst, but are super rare and only spawn in military zones - the alicepack and rucksack backpacks give you an extra hotbar slot; the alicepack doesn't have as much space as the rucksack but it has about 10 pounds more weight tolerance than it
