  2. Wow, speaking of weird relationship nonsense I essentially was told by my best friend today that he'd date me completely 100% for reals. I've not the slightest idea as to how to deal with that.

    Magic The Gathering (TCG)

I want to build a janky combo deck using Chance Encounter + Aleatory + Chaotic Strike + Goblin Token Production + Zada, Hedron Grinder. If that isn't janky, then I don't know what is.

    Anime General Discussion

I finished Taimadou 35 and it was entertaining. ...Okay the first four episodes of harem nonsense might have turned anyone off of it, but I managed to stick it through. Episode 9 was another episode of harem nonsense but it was a good break from the seriousness of the middle arc. All in all, at first I thought it was shit, then after the first arc it became pretty decent. Characters all got their own arcs and actually progressed unlike most harem magic school LN adaptions, none of the characters were unlikable (at first I thought not-Kirino would ruin the show but she turned around) and the setting was pretty cool. Though it had a lot of dropped plot arcs. Like the Dark Elf thing (spawning the Frodo of "why didn't she use the NANOMACHINES Delf powers when they were about to be overrun by enemies in the last arc?") and the magic terrorist group having a bunch of characters that the show seems to think we know but we really don't. The show ended on a "pls buy BDs so we can have season 2" kinda note, though, so maybe we'll get more eventually. And I wouldn't be adverse to that, really, as long as they keep the interesting setting and characters going. The CG looked silly at times but that's just what action CG is right now. Maybe one day we'll see good CG outside of Etotama.

5-colour ally general is cool, I wonder how fun they'll be to play. Also reee planeswalkers get out other than that I like Caller of the Tentacles. I can imagine fun times to be had with that in the right deck.

    Dreams

I had a dream involving ninjas, ponies, and terrorism. This one did a lot of dream-morphing between places so the setting is fuzzy for me. The place I remember most is a sandy desert area overshadowed by something huge and made of metal (Like the level on Halo 3 where you ride Scorpions through the Ark). There were two trailer house-sized rooms suspended above the desert valley by huge, solid metal pipes attached to the aforementioned giant metal structure. I think we were shooting targets in the canyon from one of them at one point, but then I went to the other one and apparently found Applejack. I was apparently also okay with that and decided to hang out for a bit, then we picked up radio that some group had already searched the first room and found no bomb. Naturally I turn around and see this cartoon horse putting together a bomb and apparently I'm like "oh shit I need to protect her until it's ready to be detonated" so I grab a wooden sword that was nearby and guard the plexiglass sliding door. I'm then attacked by one ninja that I handily defeat by disarming him and breaking his sword (which was wood or bamboo or something) and he talks to me about how he doesn't want to die or something in a weird goofy accent that I couldn't really identify. I wait some more and another ninja comes towards the door, this time with a much longer bamboo sword and a shorter one taped to his crotch (!?). I manage to defeat him by closing the auto-sliding plexiglass door on his crotch-sword and then breaking it off. By that time I think the bomb was ready, but the dream kinda faded out before any conclusion was made.
