Well, it was, considering that there's still a warning type in the forum for it that I didn't put there. But anyway, no, it's not against the rules right now to bump a topic, but your post has to be discussing that same topic. The old rep system has nothing to do with negarep, and thus it was an improper bump.

If you didn't want to get warned you probably shouldn't have put "I dug this up instead of making a new thread cause I'm lazy" at the beginning of your post. That tells me you KNEW you were doing something wrong and did it anyway.

But test scores increasingly mean nothing - you have to have really good academics and really good extracurriculars to have a shot at going where you want to go.

As for ACT, it's scored from 1 to 36. 18 is around the average. 30+ would be pretty good to get to be competitive.

With the new SAT system, 1600 will once again be a perfect score. 1000 will be average, and 400 the worst. A score of 1300 is pretty good, and 1400-1500 is extremely good.

Advice: it's all about them AP and college classes and scores. Honors is only marginally better than regular classes, especially when it comes to college admissions.
