I got RE4 immediately because I had the wii version and just wanted to play it again. It's REALLY good, but requires a bit of effort to get it working on a PC, namely messing with config.ini so you actually get more than 5 FPS. Even then, the controls are REALLY awkward unless you have a controller or are used to it. Not at all like a regular shooter.

I'm pretty impressed that you found that, and pretty impressed at three-year-younger me for having the time to figure that out. Why did I have that much free time?

everywhere and everywhen   No but uh for starters, you'll want them where you think the action is going to be for the next few minutes. If you want to secure the jungle from gankers, cover the entrances. If you want to keep an eye on runes and ganks, put them by the river. If you're looking to fight soon, put them in the enemy hidey spots so they can't ambush you. It's really tough because everything is very reliant on how each game plays out, and you have to get a feel for it. Watch some pro matches and see where the pros ward.
