Dack Fayden is terrible sadly enough. His +1 is great but both his other abilities are shit. As for Teysa 2 (or Tits McGee as my playgroup calls her), she's too slow to be a good commander, but my playgroup is incredibly casual so she works pretty well. I run all 15 extort cards and a LOT of pillowforting, and Teysa is basically a No Mercy you don't have to tutor. Athreos is the only card in JOU that is good in competitive MtG but not in EDH. Paying 3 life is nothing if you start with 40 so you;d have to politics bro-op to make him worthwhile. I've seen Modern Affinity players playtest him which, albeit slow, is downright sadistic; "I sac 2 thopters, a Memnite and a Signal Pest to my Ravager, then sac the ravager to pump my Vault Skirge. Pay 15 life or shall I do it all again next turn?"

I like you I love merfolk and I love the grumpy little Sygg but I refrained from building an EDH deck with him because my playgroup bitched about my Damia EDH being too controlly, so when I built a new deck I thought it be best to not go UB and built Teysa Envoy of Ghosts instead

I ask this because I honestly am not sure what I should think about it. It is still my most hated weapon in the game, but I can't really say it's overpowered. It utterly locks down anyone playing Scout or Pyro, but now the health regen thing is fixed it also dies immediately to any Soldier or Demo with a brain (which admittedly are rather rare). So what do you guys think? Is it balanced now or still overpowered? Or just badly designed?

I complain about how bad the average pubber here is a lot but I just played a game that just, I what It was on dustbowl last, the first point was capped, but both teams were camping their own spawn. This is of course common for Red, but Blu was doing the same thing; there were five engies on blu who built inside the concrete base, with a heavymedic combo sitting next to the dispenser and two Snipers peeking out the spawndoor waiting for an enemy to come into view. For the entire round (which is ~15 minutes on DBowl last) there was not a single push, not from Blu nor from Red. Only an occasional brave pyro or scout running from base to base, but never more than 4 players out of blu spawn or over red's bridge at any given moment.

Petty, but understandable. Good ol' Grizzly is just insanely powerful. In other news I'll be going to the Grand Prix Utrecht in October. I'll join the main Standard event as well, but am mostly excited for the Modern side event. Currently debating whether I will bring my Merfolk or UTron
