So I was browsing my Twitter feed as usual when I see that several people (most of which gamers, game podcasters, lead devs, etc) were tweeting @Polygon and polygon.com.
I decided to see what all the fuss was about and...
Lo and behold, it's a professional news website just for vidya games!
Give it a look. I'll take professional news over Kotaku (and IGN, and Gamespot, and Gametrailers...) any day.
Being a journalism student, I know these guys know their shit. Since it's on the Internet, they can let articles go as long as they want, but they keep the inverted pyramid structure complete with money quotes and kickers.
In fact, some articles are actually made up of several different sub-sections, much like a magazine.
I love it.
One more thing, they have this sort of progressive approach to scores. I dunno what that means but it'll be interesting to see how they rate games.
