I'm not sure how well a shotgun/rifle build would work, but it definitely wouldn't be able to stand up to any sniper rifle. The melees seem decent though. Shovel is fun. boop

I'm not sure about that, if we get explosive ammo/slugs that'll be pretty interesting. It'd turn shotguns into more midrange monsters, but you'd actually have to aim.

The only one that seems useful will be the Raven, M1 does literally no damage because it sacrifices it for accuracy (which is awful on a shotgun), and the sweeper's probably got a 5 billion year reload due to it using a drum. Raven on the other hand seems like a complete upgrade in almost every regard to the reinfeld. Also, all of these new shotties fire ridiculously fast, so the lower damage ones might run out of ammo pretty quickly.

Silent drilling is okay, T4 of tech is pretty filler-y if you don't go sentries. It's godly on heists like shadow raid and election day though. Fix'd Techforcer is p legit, but if you want to play more in pubs I'd probably recommend Masterforcer, as you can do some damage and carry your team with inspiring shout.

Sort of. It's how visible you are to guards/cams while stealthing or in casing mode. You don't absolutely need it to be low if you're gonna go loud anyways, but it should be at 25 or below if you're planning on stealthing. A 75 is guards can see you if you're in line of sight 100% of the time, a 4 is a you can basically scratch a guard's balls and have them not notice. 25-30 should be doable with the secondary shotty. Going full stealth is fine for some heists but I've been in too many failed stealth runs to not want to bring some backup firepower. I'm guessing a lot of people have started wearing suits? Suits are nearly mandatory for stealth. Most heists are fairly simple to stealth though. Any time is good for me, I'm on vacation and I never do anything.

Anywho, if we were to do this, I'd probably recommend doing an easy stealth mission first (aka jewelry store) for a contract bonus, then something like proverkill firestarter for mad money and exp.

That reminds me I'll need to add these as well to the OP... Also in other news, shotgun update coming soon. Overkill was asking for cheevos, and they added some that when combined say "'Well I'm about as tall as a Locomotive 12G shotgun, and just as noisy". Possible shotgun reworks incoming. Maybe the loco won't be as lonely anymore.

From most essential to least essential: Gage Pack #1 Gage Sniper Pack Gage Mod pack Gage Pack #2 Armored Transport Big Bank I beg to differ. Armored Transport should be the first to grab because they give easy cash if you get the Train heist, and the 3 weapons are all really good. Gruber Kruz and Swedish K are IMHO the best stealth guns. Gage Pack #1 should be an instant grab next because grenades and the Spec Ops. Some argue that the Eagle Heavy Rifle is good enough to compete with the Car-4, but it's your choice. Depending on how you play, you may want Sniper Pack or Pack #2 for either sniper rifles or LMGs respectively. The last knife you unlock in Pack #2 is useful for stealth due to it's extra range though. Gage Mod Pack has lodsauseful weapon mods, but you'll want the weapons first. They're mainly weapon sights. Big Bank is the newest one, but it includes pre-planning heists and obviously the biggest map in Payday 2. It depends highly on whether or not you plan on hosting though personally I don't really like the train heist weapons. Swedish K is good though. If you can though, it's probably just best to grab all of them except maybe big bank.
