Explain how he ran with it. He started calling himself "Freddie" and going to conventions in a green van where he made lewd gestures towards all the Daphne cosplayers. He also started traveling to historic houses and tried to tear the face off groundskeepers while screaming "WHO ARE YOU?" It was a weird time, but eventually we got him some meds and now he's back to normal, more or less.

Shoulda grabbed Hearts of Iron III. Because when I think "new to video games", that's the game that pops into my mind.

The only free to play model that I would support is that everything that affects gameplay is free and the only way to get it is by playing the actual game instead of dumping cash on it. This would only leave cosmetic items up for sale and then probably nobody would buy those and the developers would either shut down the game or add in gameplay affecting items in the cash shop. If, by some miraculous reason cosmetics alone support the game then there's always the temptation for the developers to put in something that would affect the game into the store. All in all I'd always prefer a game with no cash shop to one that does have one. It just feels like a money-grab (even if it's not) and ruins immersion.

Of course I tried that. I don't have permission. Task Manager can't kill it. Powershell can't kill it. Processhacker probably can but I can't be assed to download it. So Avast's UI sits, grayed out, in the middle of my desktop behind Steam and Firefox, waiting for the day it can die.

I wish Avast's UI would stop being hung. It's been this way for about eight hours now. I mean I could download something that would let me kill it but that's too much effort.
