One day I'm going to make an anti-lifegain deck with Rakdos as commander. Havoc Festival, Stigma Lasher, Erebos, stuff like that. Lots of burn and lifedrain, it'll be a fun time.

Today I learned that my roommate has a list of cards he hopes I never find out about. I know this now because I just bought Stigma Lasher, which is apparently at the top of that list. It's gonna be fun.

Kind of, but everyone is also invulnerable, so more like a Song of the Siren except for everyone. So mostly useless and only there to delay the fight and wait for cooldowns and reinforcements and stuff. I really have no idea how it'll be used.

They revealed a new guy named Bard, whose ult is a targeted area where everyone inside it, friend or for, is Zhonyas'd. This guy has so much trolly "I'm helping!" potential it's insane.

Reached level 80 with my ranger in GW2, then discovered the joy that is the Flamethrower Engineer. Best build.

New Uncharted Realms, possibly the best one yet. It describes the fall of each of the clans, and leads directly into DTK. Mardu's 'end' (not really though) was freaking awesome, I think Alesha might be my favorite MTG character now. Such a fucking badass. Also, allied pairs all but confirmed for DTK.

Ok, so basically whenever a new rotation happens, for at least the first week or two, red decks (burn, straight-up aggro, etc) are king. Because let's be real here, burn's fucking easy to do. It takes time to work out the combos and what works well with what. But burn...all you gotta do is count down from 20. It's just simple to use. And it's pretty damn effective, too.

Couldn't fall asleep last night, currently listening to Polka Face by Weird Al on repeat. My life has spun horribly out of control at some point in the past few hours.

So the guy who's going to be directing (and I think possibly writing?) Star Wars 8 and 9 is a guy named Rian Johnson. He was the director for Looper, which is a decent enough movie...but he also directed the Breaking Bad episode Ozymandias. Which is the highest rated episode of any TV show of all time on IMDB. I'm okay with this.

No Dark Forces II, damn. I love that one...the cheat code "eriamjh" let you fly everywhere. So much fun to drop proximity mines on stormtroopers' heads as you zoom by. Also makes the fight with the boss who actually flies really fun-it's like a dogfight.
