If you want mods, you could probably find recommendations over at SWBFgamers.com. I used to frequent it before SPUF, it's a nice community that'll help you out. They've also got servers set up on Gameranger (I think) for both Battlefront and Battlefront II, so you can satisfy your multiplayer cravings if you so wish. As for Clone Wars (I'm assuming it's the Tartarovsky series you're talking about), I've heard a lot of people say to treat it like a highly dramatized version of what actually happened. Like the story with Mace Windu beating up the army-if you picture it from the POV of the kid retelling it to his friends, it becomes kinda plausible. "And then he lost his lightsaber but it was ok cuz he just used the force and BOOOM he killed like 500 droids and then he tore the rest apart with his bare hands and then he jumped like 3 miles and landed RIGHT NEXT TO ME GUYS". Just watch the series and picture a kid telling his friends what happened, or a grizzled clone talking about it later that night to his drinking buddies. Grievous, however, is in my mind the greatest bad thing to happen in Episode III. In both the Clone Wars and the later version of the Clone Wars, he's an unmitigated badass. In the later version he does run away quite a bit, but he generally leaves a trail of carnage and broken body parts as he does so. He got hit HARD with the nerfhammer when they brought him to the big screen.

Raz, answer honestly-do you have any decks that don't have infinite combos?

Played my first game with the Red c14 deck, I highly recommend it. I took out about 15 cards and put some other ones in that I thought would work better, and they did WORK. Hellkite Igniter basically ended the game for one guy. Still need to get a Darksteel Forge and Mindslaver. My friends say they're all super excited about those additions!

Sounds interesting. I might use it, but to be honest I'm not sure if I have anything really worth writing about. Could be interesting though.

Relic of Progenitus, how could I have forgotten that? I have so many of those lying around, too. Tormod's Crypt is a good one too, I'll have to see if I have one. We have a LOT of recursion in my playgroup (I play Marchesa, the other Erebos has a lot of reanimation since it's basically a reskinned C14 black deck, and another friend has a weird Titania dredge/land reanimation deck along with Sedris) so those are perfect.

Just bought the red C14 deck from Amazon. Anyone got any fun cards to add to the artifact theme? So far I've bought Kurkesh, Hellkite Igniter, Slobad, Crown of Doom, Assault Suit, and just for fun, Obsidian Fireheart. I feel like I should definitely get a Valakut, right?

Been making a few Tiny Leaders decks while I'm at home, it's something to do to pass the time. Currently I've got Saffi Eriksdotter tokens/counters, Anax and Cymede Heroic Weenies, and I'm working on Teysa artifacts and Tymaret murdertime funtime. It's actually a really fun format to build for-the 3-CMC limit really makes you have to think about what you're gonna do, and with only 49 cards besides your general, it's almost like building a limited deck, just with commander rules. I'm liking it a lot.

So I just found out that Bogles is apparently a T2 modern deck. What the hell, that's absolutely hilarious. I love Slippery Bogle. Also, I'll maybe try to figure out that Xmage thing-if I get my Big Black Deck up, would anyone be up for some multiplayer commander?

Personally, I'm not sure about his chances in tron-apparently, him coming out turn 4 instead of 3 is the real killer here. As for EDH, he's going to be very fun.

That's actually apparently literally what happened-this was apparently going to be her last episode but changed her mind at the last second, causing a bit of a rewrite. I guess the original scene was going to have Not sure how much I like that she's staying. I've liked Clara this season, she's grown in leaps and bounds from season 7.2 (which I still say is the absolute worst season ever) but I'm not sure what more they can do with her story that doesn't involve "Oh, I miss Danny" because that's going to get old so fast. I'm definitely looking forward to season 9 though. Michelle Gomez has apparently confirmed a Missy return, which I'm completely onboard with. Love me some Missy. Also-"There's a horror movie called Alien? That's really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you." is my new favorite Doctor Who quote ever. I had to pause the show, I was laughing so hard.

It's Idris Elba. The guy could play fucking Tinkerbell and he'd still nail the part. I have no problems whatsoever with it.

Got the last few cards from my Pucatrade test. They give you something like 700 points to start with for free by doing various tasks (verifying email, stuff like that) which is about $7. So without giving up any cards, I got 18 singles of stuff I've been looking to get for a while but just haven't been willing to shell out the few cents to get. Everything came quickly, and in great condition. It's an international thing too, so Raz-you can try it too. I'd definitely recommend at least signing up for it, even if you don't trade any cards to people, 700 free points worth of cards is frickin NICE. EDIT: If anyone wants to try it out, use this link so that I can get free points because I'm greedy and I want an Oona for my next EDH deck.

Ask your friends if they're cool with you proxying decks-it makes it a lot more fun when you don't actually have to buy a deck, only to find you hate playing it. Plus, it gives you something to work towards, in a way-I proxied my black deck earlier this year, and I'm just about finished with actually buying all the stuff for it. Just need Liliana Vess and Liliana of the Dark Realms, I think.

My buddy has a Vorel EDH deck, here's his decklist. It's a VERY good deck, it spews out huge monsters like nobody's business. And then if you get Eternity Vessel out with Vorel, basically nothing besides commander damage and/or infinite combos will kill you. It's a damn good deck.

Well, white lends itself well to a lot of "weenie" strategies-that is, summoning a large army of low-costing, weak creatures that'll eventually overwhelm your enemy. You can do this well with White on its own, as well as White-Green (Selesnya) and White-Red (Boros). White-Blue (Azorius) is considered the best control color by many. Basically, you try and win by limiting just what your enemy can do. It's very annoying. Finally, White-Black (Orzhov) does a lot of lifedrain strategies, along with some control. You basically bleed your enemy dry while topping your own life total off.

Well, what colors interest you? Each one lends itself best to a certain playstyle. This isn't to say that you can't play colors differently, it's just a little more difficult.
