Yeah, that part was ridiculous. But the Thrawn trilogy? Amazing. Those were the first Star Wars novels I read, and they were fantastic.

So I didn't really do all that great at the prerelease-I went 2 and 2. But I don't care, I pulled the new Ajani. And oh my sweet raptor Jesus he is so fucking good I just want to cry. EDIT: Decided to get one of each of the Innistrad block boosters...pulled Mikaeus, the Unhollowed and Griselbrand. It's been a hella good night. If only Griselbrand wasn't banned in EDH...he would have been perfect.

Today's the last Friday of classes, which means that the school throws a huge carnival and everybody gets trashed. I've had like...4 or 5 shots already and it's barely 1.

Decided to take out Exquisite Blood from my Erebos EDH deck, it was just getting way too much hate. I'm seriously considering putting Doomsday in there in its place. I see nothing wrong with this, tbh. My friends all say I'm an idiot though.

So I recently rewatched the original animated Clone Wars series from 2003 or whatever, and honestly, it did a better job of showing the war than either of the movies did. Also, it still hurts when I remember just how hyped I was for General Grievous, only for him to be so fucking stupid in the movie. I mean...look at this motherfucker- [spoiler2][/spoiler2] Dude was a fucking badass. But nooooo, in the movie he's basically a Bond villain with a chest cold. Second biggest disappointment of the movies, hands-down. The first being the fact that Darth Maul had about 15 minutes of screen time total.

Google just released a remote desktop app for tablets. Which means that now I can play Civ during class on my tablet. Rip in peace my GPA.

Bearer of the Heavens is immediately going into my Brion Stoutarm EDH deck...if I ever get around to making him. Darksteel Plate on Brion, then chuck Bearer at someone for tons of lifegain damage and nuking the board. Then bring him back with Gift and repeat. It's foolproof. Sort of. First I have to actually make a Brion Stoutarm deck. Been meaning to for ages.

Machete Order actually cuts out 1 altogether. Nothing that happens in the Phantom Menace really does anything to influence the rest of the saga, and let's be real here-it sucks. I've actually watched the saga in that order (4 5 2 3 6) and I gotta say-it really works. It's kinda surprising how much better the prequels make Return of the Jedi-there's a lot of parallels in it that you miss if you watch it numerically, or 4 5 6 1 2 3.

Goddamn it, Pharika. The one god I wanted to be good because I'm not a huge fan of most of the other Golgari generals, and she blows. Well she isn't too bad-she's not Emmara Tandris level of bad. But she's crazy underwhelming, especially since she's the last god to be spoiled. Damn it, Wizards.

I found my old copy of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for the PC a few months ago when I was home last. It still holds up remarkably well. It was a fantastic game. That and Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II were some of my favorite games as a kid.
