I cna't remember my first Elite 4 beating team but I can remember my first level 100 team: Typhlosion Tyranitar Scizor Kingdra Zapdos Celebi I still have that team, evacuated them to a friend's savefile after he replaced the batteries before my own Gold died.

I kind of feel like the pubber yelling "but why isn't pyro used in 6s?!" but I get the feeling that smogon should move their powerlevel threshold up a bit. Mega- Evolutions just made so many pokemon essentially legends stat-wise that old OU powerlevel is no longer ideal.

Vaporeon is the only Eeveelution with a decent movepool, the others basically all learn normal moves + their type and that's it

The greatest thing was that all other kids on the playground always said it was a bad card and I shouldn't play it; "your creatures can't even attack anymore, only it itself!" and then I proceeded to slowly murder every creature on their side of the field while they couldn't attack back and its second ability guaranteed it was the biggest thing on the field at all times. Pretty sure that sparked the MtG control player I am now
