1. Balance. BALANCE. And not just balance. Give statements on who/what they're balancing for, and why. That way, we can finally fucking end most debates about "valve didn't intend x to be like y" and stuff. They'll happen anyway, but at least we can write off those people as wastes of electrons. And also, we can finally figure out if they're balancing for the lowest common denominator or they just really suck at balancing. 2. Optimization. I'm not terribly concerned about it, considering I'm on a mac and I'm glad I can even run this game with around 30fps, but it's important for everyone else. 3. Maps. Maps provide a lot of gameplay, and if they're good (or even the fun kind of bad, like Hightower) they can be better than new weapons.

My favourite class to play were the Engineer ones just because they had shotguns, detpacks, and health refilling as well as being able to heal and hack vehicles

They'll probably scrap it because someone on the mapping team couldn't memorize the script for the film

Some dev for EOTL basically outright said there aren't going to be weapons. I'd be surprised if we get a map, really.

WIXOSS actually only seems to shoehorn in the card game aspect. Like, the longest BATTORU we actually had was just essentially the two girls firing laz0rs at each other with music in the background. The card game isn't explained at all, if anything it's just a placeholder for a fistfight.
