Had Orange Box on Xbox 360, played TF2 because it was weird and seemed really deep at the same time. Watched Meet the Team videos religiously, they were so cool and unlike anything I'd ever seen from a game, mixing serious stuff with complete sillyness without batting an eye. I loved watching videos of the Spy gameplay on PC because it had actually received buffs to make it useful like the Scout Update's quickbackstabs and ammosurfing. When we got a Mac that could run the game, I was basically chomping at the bit to get TF2 installed.

Directional damage in games is apparently hard.

Now that the dust has settled, what is the absolute best new-gen costume? I actually like Injun Aru a lot.

I'm tired of the PlanetSide 2 community. You'd think that Wrel (basically the public face of the game's dev team at this point) killed the families of some of the people on that place. They constantly complain about the devs ignoring their complaints (some of which were justified like the directional tank armor removal which was patched back in the next update). Then they turn around and yell that the dev team never gave a reason for the things they did, despite the reasons being delineated countless times; they simply disregard it as a dumb idea. They infect any thread with attempts to derail into dev-hate circlejerks and will scream that you're "an infantry shitter" if you point out that nobody but the best ESF pilots would engage Dalton libs because they were afraid of being one-tapped by a weapon that shouldn't even have an A2A role. Then again, this kind of stuff applies to any game community. It's always "game is being ruined" this, "game is being dumbed down" that. It's just that the depth of different roles you can play exclusively in PS2 is especially conducive to a lot of us vs them mentality the second one gets changed.

We have a pretty solid collection of SNES stuff but we're missing a few classics. But we have Super Mario World and All-Stars so it's all okay.

This is the summary of the plot of Halcyon syndrome. Jay told me and it basically can be summarized with this song.

    Magic The Gathering (TCG)

On top of that, cards from other TCGs are banned from Constructed to begin with. But if we're using cards from YGO to win, just use this.

I'm not too impressed with the set overall but some cards are just great. A while ago someone made a custom un-card that had protection from state-based actions, and I'm glad that something like that now officially exists.

It's just like how I expected Servants to be way more large in the F/SN VN than they were. Probably because the only thing I knew about Fate previously was dumb powerlevel wanking from the fanbase and people complaining about how FGO "ruined the franchise." But it turned out okay anyway because the Masters were cool. It made the few times servants clashed head-on even better.
  14. I would play music from my phone but my car is a little special and I think the AUX cord that we used to use literally is inside the dashboard now and I can't be arsed to take off the plate and find it.
  15. I like desert winters. It's really pretty out there, hiking in Winter is nice and fun because you can warm yourself up with your pace and if you hike in the right places you get snow without having to deal with driving in snow. Though, if you took a picture of Vegas in the summer and in the winter and compared them, not much would change unless you happened to snap a picture of the one guy in the Valley with a grass lawn, or of the few parks that actually have trees that shed leaves.

I've dropped: Konohara Kitan - Boring. Only one likeable character. There was one character whose design was literally Saber but with a fluffy tail. I didn't like Urara that much at this was just another Urara. URAHARA - Might pick up later. Very cute show to watch, but not much else if you ask me. LoveLive Sunshine 2 - I still haven't watched any of it so I guess I'll just pick it up when the entire season's done airing. Still watching: Inuyashiki - Interesting show. Honestly, that's all I need to keep up with something, and the premise is good. Juuni Taisen - This is like Mahou Shoujo Raising Project, except somehow the grown, lifetime warriors who have been terrors on the battlefield are even MORE retarded than the children in MSRP, and they die just as hilariously. It's fun for the purpose of watching people form incredibly intricate plans for 21 minutes and then die in some really unceremonious way in the last minute. Blend S - Unlike KonoKita, the characters are likeable enough to keep watching. It's fun seeing the personality split with the characters on/off the job. My Girlfriend is Shobitch: ...I'm not sure if it's better or worse than Hajimete no Gyaru. I'll probably drop it soon. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou: Cute and very fun to watch. The city episode was amazing. This would hold the title of best post-apocalyptic show if it weren't for the next show. Houseki no Kuni: Hey did I mention I like this show it's great and FUCK I don't want to spoil myself because the anime is so good but I have the first three volumes sitting right next to me and I want to see what happens so badly. Also really good stylized 3DCG. Might be the best looking 3D show I've seen. Please somebody other than me WATCH IT aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

We're at halfway in the season. Are you still watching anything, SPUF? How many shows have you dropped so far? Don't tell me you're not watching AOTS Houseki no Kuni.

    >having hat arguments in 2017 There's so many hats in the game that it's basically impossible to narrow it down. But also any hat released after 2014 is probably trash.

Overall I'd say it was worth the 8 hours of driving round trip (also because I got to go to various weeb shops and I bought a few volumes of Houseki no Kuni). Might make it again next movie.

Just watched Heaven's Feel movie one. Hell of a rollercoaster, and I'm just talking about what was going on before the movie. Met some people I never thought I'd meet, saw some things I'd never think I'd see. The movie itself was great. I think that you lost a lot in translating Fate to an anime because like 70% of it is just Shirou thinking but god damn if it wasn't fun to watch. Cu is the fucking BEST and also I FUCKING LOVE RIDER AAAA
