The reintroduction of the normal Light, Medium, and Heavy classes like the previous Tribes games is going to be heavily changing the meta since you're going to have much more freedom and customization in just about every way. There's probably going to be a large amount of weapon rebalance afterwards considering that there's weapons that straight up are a downgrade (one that comes in mind is the low mag size high damage Tech SMG, since it actually has lower DPS even if all your shots connect) and things like the Plasma Gun which are way too powerful because of how easy it is to connect a shot. Hopefully the new map will be more like the maps we had in the previous games, focusing more on a large midfield and less defense stacking.

Supposedly we're getting yet another new heister, this time a female Australian named Georgia.

Their new update to go to the SMITE launcher completely destroyed the Steam version of Tribes. I recommend completely uninstalling everything related to Tribes including the HiRez Troubleshooter thing and reinstalling the client from the Tribes Ascend website.

Tribes Ascend Dev Kit finally? inb4 HiRez shuts down servers instead inb4 Tribes skin for Paladins. Could be potential trolling, which isn't out of character for typical HiRez bullshit.

​Java has one of the most extensive amounts of documentation out of all the languages I've worked with. I learned by just reading up on the syntax in a reference book and looking at a lot of code. Do plenty of recreational programming and check out Project Euler a lot. I've personally never taken a formal class for Java, but I'll be going into AP Comp Sci when school starts in a week, and it really doesn't teach all that much. It might be harder for people that haven't done another programming language, but it might just be better to start with a large, extensive language like Java.
