The fact of the matter is that people as a whole can't comprehend the idea of a vocal minority. In my view, Texas's current voice is just a vocal minority that happens to be supported by a bunch of people who genuinely don't know any better.Texans hear this new republican party, and since they don't hear anything else, they assume it's the only voice and leap right on the bandwagon.America hears about Texas supporting it, and and Texas isn't saying much else, they assume the entirety of Texas agrees.The rest of the world hears about this clusterfuck, and since the large majority isn't being public about thier opinions, they think America revolves around the ideas of 1 or 2 dipshit politicians.Which is why I avoid politics at all cost.
