Well, I just posted a deck that's fun, works some of the time, and costs less than 10 bucks. Here's my favorite 60-card deck that I've got-me and Raz actually whipped this thing up together a few months back, and then I actually assembled it. It's sort of cheap, and does really well in casual groups. And best of all, it's zombies. It's not going to be super competitive, but for your average group of friends, it's pure hell. Trust me, it's the only way you'll get better. I still suck at deckbuilding, but it's just FUN. Find a theme you want to do, search for a few decks that do it, then take the cards you like from it. It's a great way to learn about the game, too.

Oh man, that reminds me-my super janky, ultra budget ($8.50, using tcgplayer) Nivix Cyclops and friends aggroish deck, as of two hours ago, is no longer standard legal. RIP sweet prince, you were so stupid and yet you still consistently won against my friends. I only wish I had taken you to an FNM-even one win there would've been enough for me. Good god, Butcher...one guy managed to pull TWO of them, and he got both of them out the turn after he cast a Ponyback Brigade. I lost that game. Such a great card. Also, Savage Punch is so fun to play.

Had a pretty decent prerelease. I went Temur (R/U/G) and got Rattleclaw Mystic as my promo. Also pulled Sidisi, which continues my streak of pulling a Ravnica guild leader/God/Khan at each prerelease I attend. Thinking of making an EDH deck with her-maybe zombie tribal with a dredge/self-mill subtheme? No idea. I did crappy during the actual playtime-I made a really aggro deck, and I either got out-aggroed by the Mardu players or the Abzan guy pulled out that bullshit lifelinking giraffe dude and stabilized at like 2 life. I went 1-2 and then left with my friends, since the store I go to doesn't give out prize packs unless you've won 3 or more games. It's a really slow format, I'm not sure if I like it that much. I miss the days of Gatecrash/Dragon's Maze where you could play 3 or 4 games within 20 minutes.

Is the situation at 4chan really as bad as they're saying, or is this just a bit of an exaggeration? Because the front page of r/4chan is almost all stuff about the mods and censorship right now.

I gotta say, the difficulty curve in this game is ridiculous...I'm on the second-last level in the story (the one before the Vault) and it's so fucking hard. I'm loving it. Even though it makes me rage.

Solid card. It's like Putrid Leech and Lotleth Troll had a baby. Gonna be a big limited bomb, I think.

I liked it. Meh ending, but Capaldi was on fire with the one-liners. And the whole dungeon scene with him and Robin Hood had me in stitches, it was absolutely hilarious to me.

Even scarier when you have a constantly-regenerating Golgari Decoy coming at you along with his friends. My buddy didn't have any creature stick around for longer than a turn.

Yeah, my friends and I always go to the prereleases-we don't get to all play together very often (especially since my one friend isn't even going here this semester) so it's nice to be able to do that. We usually do pretty well, too-I went undefeated in the BNG prerelease, and in JOU both me and my friend went 3-1. On a side note, I proxied up my Ezuri elves EDH deck and tried it out in both multiplayer and singleplayer. It did well enough in multiplayer-it got too big a few times and had to be beaten up, but it held together pretty well. It was never not on the "threat radar" like some of my other decks are. But in singleplayer...holy shit. This deck is a fucking monster. My friend's Prossh deck is widely considered to be the best singleplayer deck in our meta, with only my Animar being able to really stand against it. I annihilated him. I got Essence Warden out game 1 and Wellwisher game 2. My life total didn't go below 40 either game. Meanwhile, I just kicked the SHIT out of him with my enormous army of elves. I'm so happy with this deck. I spent most of the summer making both this and Marchesa, and both are performing so well. I love it.

Don't really care, tbh. Today's also the 8 year anniversary of Steve Irwin's death. I'm much sadder about that.

It's card draw for life (conditionally) with an anthem stuck to it. It's only 1 more mana than Arena or Necropotence, and it's uncommon. True, the condition for drawing is a bit steep, but warriors are a fairly good tribe. I like it.

I've actually seen Lissandra played top, not sure how well she did it though.
