I thought My Little Mercenaries died like a decade ago

Decided to watch some cartoons. Man, how far these channels have fallen.
 
There are like 10 cartoon channels, 6 of them are for babies/toddlers. Disney is either live action sitcons or Loud House. Nickelodeon is either Spongebob, Patrick, Spongebob Babies or live action sitcom.
 
Cartoon Network is a shadow of its former self, I looked at the channel schedule and it was 3 hours of Teen Titans GO, followed by Bare Bears Babies, Total Drama Babies, Gumball and some shitty obligatory by law brazillian cartoons, followed by another 3 hours of Teen Titans Go. ITS ALL THEY SHOW, THE ENTIRE SCHEDULE WAS 70% TEEN TITANS GO. THIS SERIES HAS 400 EPISODES WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
 
Dreamworks has an entire channel to "low quality shows of our animated movies".
 
The only channel worth watching is Tooncast because it only runs old cartoons (early 2000s ones), shame that the Boomerang channel that used to show really old cartoons changed into live action sitcoms then was nuked.
 
Its times like these that I really miss the old schedule, weird cartoons played early in the morning (I remember some show about Tripplets and a witch), at the start of the afternoon they started with shows like Shaolin Showdown, Toonami started at 17:00 with Pokemon, followed by Dragon Ball, Inuyasha and Zatch Bell. Followed by Cartoon Cartoons from 19:00 to 22:00, having a mix of Dexter, Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel, Johnny Bravo, Megas XLR, Time Squad, Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd n Eddy, and several others. Then after that, it was Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck Show for one hour, ending with the Tex Avery Show.
Adult Swim wasn't from my time, but I remember stuff like Evangelion and other animes playing after midnight.
 
Was the Locomotion channel available in other countries? I remember it was mostly adult anime, I still remember stuff like Agent Aika, Burn Up Excess and Saber Marionette from there.

Noticed that my headset was only getting detected after two tries or if I start the PC with them connected.
 
Looked at the configs to see if the popups were being blocked, but no. Disabled and reenabled them, activated notifications. Didn't work.
Checked the Realtek drivers, nothing seemed to be wrong.
Checked the four difference audio apps, nothing.
Uninstalled the drivers and let Windows reinstall them. Worked, but because of some kind of black magic, it would reinstall the other drivers after 20 seconds, even after I marked to delete the old drivers.
Went on device manager and made the audio change to the windows audio drivers, worked but if there was no sound for a few seconds, the headset would make a "click" and then do a REALLY LOUD noise the second some sound played, as if the headset was being connected in the port.
Uninstalled every app and driver, disabled their services, blocked their tasks on the scheduler. Still reinstalling itself.
Decided that is my life now, reinstalled everything and returned everything like it was. Now it stopped detecting my headset, even if I click on the popup. Sometimes just closing the popup was making it detect the headset, so what the fuck?
Reinstalled drivers, AGAIN. Still weird.
Went into the audio app and marked to not ask or show the popup. THAT fixed it, even after I restarted the pc, it still detects the headset automatically.

Got a new PC, came with Windows 11.
Looks like shit. Runs like shit. Doesn't lets me disable "features" I will never use.
 
"Look at all these cool apps and features that came pre-installed! Pretty neat huh?"
No, uninstall them all.
"O-oh, ok."
This start menu sucks ass, give me the classic one.
"No."
What do you mean, "no"?
"No! Too many people liked the classic start menu without ads and usability, so we disabled it with an update. Now you are forced to use the worse menu!"

I go around looking if I can just install Win 10.

Actual helpful dude: "Just go to Microsoft's page and download the Win 10 installer, it uses the same license so you can use "upgrade it" to Win 10."
 
So now I am with Windows 10 again.
 
Hey I don't want internet searches and recommendations on my LOCAL search bar when I'm just trying to find a file, remove that.
"I am afraid I can't do that."
Why?
"That feature is only available for Pro and Ultimate licenses and you only have a Home license."

A bit late to the party, but I'm loving the insanity that is Rivals of Aether workshop characters.
 
 

I finished Final Fantasy 2, its a game that I always started, but either stopped midway or forgot about it.
People say its a bad game because of the leveling system, but MAN, there is so much more bad stuff, like the story, hidden mechanics, difficulty spikes.
 
The leveling system is ok at first, even Elder Scolls eventually started to use a similar system. The problem is that its either too easy to level or stats, or incredibly boring.
HP and MP are very easy, just lose them and you get more. Attacking yourself works the best because of hidden stats and mechanics.
But stuff like agility, evasion, equipment proficiency and magic have different ways to level, either requiring constant use or luck.
 
Talking about hidden stats and mechanics, this game is filled with them. It never explains stuff, equipment has hidden debuffs, stats have different leveling formulas.
To increase agility, you need light equipment, but the game never really tells what is light equipment. Also, agility depends on itself to increase, characters with more agility get even more easier.
Weapon proficiency and magic levels require constant use, but eventually they just stop leveling. There is a hidden rank system that stops you from gaining exp if your enemies are too "low rank". Eventually you need to attack yourself to level these at a constant rate, but even then it takes hundreds of uses to level once.
Armor can have evasion, magic damage and other debuffs, but the game never shows it, you can only see some of these debuffs by entering the status screen after equipping said armor.
 
I was going at a steady rate, but eventually you hit a difficulty spike. Even though you are using the most damaging weapons you can at that point (unless you do the Toad minigame), you just don't do any damage. So I am at a point where enemies can't attack me because my defense/evasion is too high, but I don't have damage enough to kill them.
Spells help, but MP is rather limited, there is only one MP recover item that costs way too much and recovers way too little (also the recover amount is random).
 
The extra story mode suffers from more problems because you need to get the equipment from defeating enemies, since the only shop has starting stuff. Eventually I reached the final boss, but again I could barely damage him.
After a few minutes of spamming spells and sometimes healing, because the boss would remove half of my characters HP when it hit, I finally finished it.
And got a shitty ending.

I only take my SFMs with high amounts of non-sensical humor or with some Overwatch porn I found on my twitter feed.

I literally had to sew my laptop. You see, some genius thought that having the whole keyboard be permaglued to several small plastic dots from UNDER the frame to be a good idea.
They never had the thought of "what if the keyboard needs to be replaced?"
There is NO way to remove the keyboard without breaking these. The replacement keyboard gets sunk a bit under the frame.
Gluing it is dangerous since the glue can seep around fuck stuff or even ruin the keys.
So I had to get a sewing kit and sew the keyboard into the frame to keep it at the same level it was before.
 
Fucken hell.
