Gore Magala was totally reasonable until he turned purple and started exploding half my health off.

You're in there somewhere.

I was inspired by Medic's Conga thread to make a thing. I posted it in Medic's Conga Thread on big spuf. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA2qHv3-p3M

I'm up for whatever

Run you pigeons, it's Robert Frost!

Finally got around to playing Darksouls 2 proper. Feels a lot like monster hunter. Everything is really slow and deliberate, impatience gets you killed, and gitgud or die trying.

Nothing is wrong, DA:O is a good game, one of my favorite RPGs.

Couple Tries to Name Their Child Nutella

Wasn't there a couple that named their kids LemonJello and OrangeJello? -
How is Angry Birds even still a thing? It's just a shitty Flash catapult game from 2000.

They were testing Bipods, which remove vertical recoil, but didn't remove the bipod code.

Yeah, I noticed the drills don't seem to jam on Bomb maps. Dragan's neat, Looks like Bootleg Dallas, speaks in gravely Slavic accented English.

Tingle is going to be a playable character in the Hyrule Warriors Majora DLC. Get Hype, or Get Scared, depending on your disposition.

Fun Fact, Manhunt 1 is/was more violent than Manhunt 2, even before they nerfed Manhunt 2's kill scenes. But all the controversy surrounding the sequel made the raters extra scrutinizing and give it AO. Then Rockstar put Bluejuice on everything so they could get M and shove it in stores. Also, Heart of Darkness (PS1) is rated "E for everyone" despite a whole bunch of gruesome death scenes!

Managed to get Tabula Rasa with Wickbot and Chainsbot. Shit was intense.

Someone should host Xyzzy or Boardgame Online this weekend

Double Post, because I thought a thing. In order to raise the general awareness of new players, what if valve instituted an (optional) active hint system? In certain contexts, hints would pop up guiding new players towards objectives or healthy playing habits. And hints could pop up on death offering basic advice on how to deal with the class that killed you. Like an in-game (and less bad) version of the loading screen hints.

Apparently yes.

If you watch the commentary in Ep3 they talk about why Grievous was hit with a nerf bat. Because to film his scenes they literally had to have two guys stand in front of each other to greenscreen his 4 arms. This was apparently too difficult, time consuming, and expensive to choreograph much more than what was in the movie. But the crew was just as disappointed as we were with his limited role and lack of real fight scene. Compare this to the animated series where all you have to do is draw him, and suddenly it's way easier and cheaper to make him a badass.

Will we get an 8th heister? Everybody knows somebody except Wolf.

Spoiler I think normal humans reacting to slash living in the unorthodox game mechanics of TF2 could be potentially interesting. But it's probably going to be some crappy machinima! (Because I have no illusions about the quality of such projects)

Dire Miralis is a Chump, Alatreon is the real final boss as far as I'm concerned.
