Whole play area is roughly 8'x8', the pad is 6'x6'. It's not exactly roomy, and I've hit the wall a few times, but it certainly has enough room in general.

The controversial catapult play was something I actually did some quick mental maths to evaluate, and later took a closer look at:
Me:
STR: +0
DEX: +1
spell save DC: 14
Spider(assuming zach didnt modify them):
STR: +2
DEX: +2
Chance of me beating the grapple check, assuming I use DEX and Tides of chaos for advantage: 1 - ((1d20 + 2 > 1d20 + 1)^2) = 77.4%
Chance of the rock hitting me, considering I had advantage and had to beat my own spell save DC of 14 = 1 - ((13/20)^2) = 42.25%
Chance of it hitting the spider = 12/20 * (1-42.25%) = 34.65%
Chance of it missing both of us: 23.1%
chance for it to hit me and deal 17 or more damage, knocking me out instantly (i.e. the exact fucking thing that happened): 42.25% * 23.44% = 9.9%
So it was a bad idea compared to trying to break free, but I figured I was more likely to dodge it than not and I was hoping my DM would consider the fact that, if it missed, it would come back down next turn since I shot it directly upwards. At the end of the day it's what rhea would have done so its cool

Ruined? Maybe if you're some kind of beta.
I was hoping Wulff was playing one of the DS games because I haven't heard anything about them and I wonder if they're worth bothering with

Wild Magic is very fun. I instantly decided this is what I was going to play for my second 5e campaign when I saw this fucking incredible table and I don't regret it one bit.
I hit the top result today and it is a nice feeling to know that within a minute my sorcerer could have become a bright blue levitating toddler surrounded by unicorns covered in grease.
