Played CoD for the first time and I don't get how people like it so much. I can barely tell what weapons people were using, what I was killed with, or where people were. No personality in the characters or maps. Not to mention that using a controller is impossible.

Nah, You'll likely be able to do so. All four of my Deoxys got through. It just doesn't allow Azure Flute/Oak's Letter/Hotel Key Arceus/Shaymin/Darkai that originate from DP because those items were only released for Platinum.

Had a dream last night where I discovered that my dad (in-dream only) had mapped out some kind of important genome before his death. As I was going to tell someone, my music director came and held everyone hostage because he wanted the research.

Yeah, we all really enjoyed it. We're goign to try to do more anime films for movie night, even if it is only like four of us that go. If I may recommend a few, all of these are family friendly... Except for maybe Paprika, which deals with some funky themes (It's about dreams). Summer Wars is just an all around enjoyable movie, Tokyo Godfathers is hilarious and heartwarming, Paprika is... You have to watch it. No excessive gore or horror or anything, but it does get weird, Lupin III is literally what inspired Indiana Jones, a great adventure movie, Little Witch Academia is basically a Japanese take on Harry Potter (It's only ~30 minutes long I think, but it's really good.: Summer Wars Tokyo Godfathers Paprika Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro Little Witch Academia Sweet, thanks, dude. After the Superbowl is over we'll get back to the usual one movie a week. I've heard of Paprika and yes, it did seem weird.

In a weird break from my normal modus operandi, I somehow downed two whole feature length anime movies this weekend. The first one I watched was Saint Young Men, which I have seen around quite often lately. It's about Jesus and Buddha taking a vacation in Japan away from their divine duties. The overall plot is pretty fluff and the two are very awkward, but I get the feeling that that's how this kind of anime goes. I liked the artstyle, religion jokes, and the atmosphere. 8/10 The second one I saw was actually not thirty minutes ago during out floor's movie night. It was titled "Wolf Children" Now this shit right here I enjoyed a lot. The art was cute, the characters were likeable, the music was great, and the storyline was a nice mixture of funny, heartwarming, and drama. It's basically about a human woman's experiences raising her children who are half-werewolf. Hana, the mom, is so virtuous that I was freaking out during dangerous scenes because I didn't want her to get hurt. Maybe I just have a soft spot for nice characters, but she deserves all the happy endings. 9/10

We just finished watching Primer in class and the second thing this one girl had to say about it was that she hated how women were portrayed in it. Kill me.
