Canny Observer: Limited to hearing the details of a conversation of finding hidden doors. Piece of shit, might as well get Skill Focus. It's got a large bonus after 10th (+6, and only 1 less before that) and applies to ALL Perception checks, most significantly the important ones, like to see people sneaking towards you.
 
Combat trick: Decent.
 
Fast Picks: Will never matter. Ever.
 
Fast Stealth: Okay. +5 situational bonus on Stealth (essentially) is good sometimes I guess.
 
Finesse Rogue: Okay if you're a Dex Rogue.
 
Follow Clues: You can use Survival! Yay?
 
Quick Disguise: If you have a minute to fiddle with your appearance, you'll have a few more. With how rarely Disguise comes up (I've NEVER seen it used, especially when a Hat of Disguise is so damn cheap), it's a worthless Talent.
 
Sniper's Eye: Decent if you're a ranged Rogue.
 
Trap Spotter: Pretty good if you forget to say "I search for traps" often enough.
 
Weapon Training: Gain Weapon Focus. Decent. But again, it's you using your class feature to get a Feat.
 
Note that literally every other class with a feature like this can consider "Extra X" to be a good Feat investment, because they're actually worth having. Extra Rogue Talent is the Feat you take when you feel like smashing yourself in the kneecaps with a hammer because you weren't feeling crippled enough playing a Rogue to begin with.
 
Rest of 'em don't count because they're Ninja Tricks. Ninja Tricks are actually useful.
 
Now, as I said, there are a few Talents that are useful.
 
The ones that grant Feats are at least worthwhile. Minor/Major Magic into Dispelling Strike is alright.
 
But for the most part? Nah. They sound good until you read the fine print (which puts ludicrous restrictions or a 1/day usage limit on them), but after that not so much.

No self-ban is silly. All that means is that if you want youself banned, now you first gotta spam gore/porn/goreporn for a bit
 
Not allowing threads for it is another thing, of course, there is never a way a thread asking for a ban will not turn into a shitstorm. But if someone just asks through steam or PM it shouldn't be a problem.

The admins have released a comprehensive administration update. The notes for the update are below.
member registrations are now required to go through a light administration check and approval before being allowed to access the forum all public access to the forum has been blocked, and now requires a login to see anything members are no longer allowed to request self-bans, and all members so banned have been unbanned alt accounts are now not allowed to be made without explicit preapproval by the administration, and all current alts have been banned moderators have been enabled - elected (with admin approval) for 1-year terms - more details to be released shortly forum staff may be requested for specific forums by active users Further updates may be released shortly.

A loooooong time ago you donated us MvM servers, which was really cool but I really wonder how that gave you the rights to veto votes and unmod other mods, especially considering your convoluted ideas about what this forum is supposed to be; literally everyone but you agrees on the "friend clubhouse" thing.
 
And let's not even talk about the several drama bombs you pulled "exiling yourself". Please just start your own, big forum and leave Subspuf for what it is, a glorified chatlog for a bunch of steam friends

What is the point of being a  Rogue/Ninja they're exactly identical except Ninjas are better in every way.
