    Neither did I, but apparently the Sega Genesis was 9-bit. Though that does explain the difference in graphics between the Genesis and the SNES.

    Alright, progress update of sorts. I've figured out the classes, the plot, some of the items, and I'm in the process of figuring out of what music I can actually use. My question to you lot: Which seems better for a JRPG-esque color palette: 8-bit(NES), 9-bit(Sega Genesis), or 15-bit(SNES)? Currently I'm entertaining 9-bit, but I'd love to hear your guys' opinions. (From left to right: 8-bit, 9-bit and 15-bit color palettes)
