​I was out getting a german exchange student to come to my house so I missed this. I'm not getting a key but who cares it's time to write something shitty.

Today Stanley was going to go down a hall he'd never gone down through before. There was no signs that said that said hall was off-limits, so Stanley marched on through it. At the end of the hall there was a door that had the word "EXIT" written on the front. "Strange." thought Stanley, for this is something he does not come by very often. Stanley pushed through the door and walked out into the pitch dark. The door suddenly closed behind him, and Stanley looked around for any sources of lights. Out about 20 feet away, there appears to be a small blueish-white light floating in the air. Stanley decides to walk towards the light and it didn't take long for Stanley to realize that this light was a phone. There was a young black male holding the phone in the dark. As Stanley walked closer, the young black male said nine words to Stanley.
"I'm watching The International, you want to as well?"

Stanley, unsure of what this is, walks a bit closer to take a peek at the young male's phone. It was at this time that Stanley realized the figure of the black male now that Stanley's eyes have adjusted to the darkness. "Fascinating" thought Stanley, "This young male's build is quite the spectacle".
"Man do you even know what Dota is? It may not be a good game at times, but it's a game that interests me. The name's Christopher, but most people call me Guy. And your name is?"
(Narrator)
Stanley did not care for these words. He never knew a man could look so dapper. Stanley decided to start feeling the man's clothing, but once he reached the man's wrist..
"Damn man, and I thought the people I talk to on the internet are weird. I'm out, see ya, weirdo".
(Narrator)
Stanley, defeated and confused by this short, semi-romantic encounter, watched the young male walk away with phone in hand. Stanley decides to find his way to the nearest bus stop. As Stanley approaches the bus stop and sits down on a bench, he blinks and finds himself back at his desk - nothing has changed from the time before. And with that, Stanley is ready to go on another adventure.

Also, my neighbors are like the most boring normal people on the planet. It's Long Island White Suburbia.
Watching this thing slowly attempt to calibrate itself with a PS3 is fascinating.

Update 2: The sound comes from the bottom and I don't have a stand or anything, so the sound would be going right into the rug.
Solution: exterior speaker. This is actually working. This is fucking awesome.

I don't feel like answering all those questions individually, but I'll give my take on it.
Are they a SPORT? No. That's silly.
Are they a legitimate competition? Yeah, sure. They're skill based challenges against (roughly) equally skilled opponents.
They're no more a sport than Chess is a sport, but as a competition games have merits.

​He tried to blow himself up, so Rammite teleported him to King Verumae's planet.

Last night I dreamed that a guy in my neighborhood had a bunch of dogs and cats and was a shitty owner, like he wouldn't feed them right, and so on. I yell out him about it and then spend the rest of the dream finding an animal shelter to take the abused pets in. Even in my sleep I hate bad pet owners. 

The Cordoba mission was a disaster.
We lost Rk. Cell and Rk. Cube early on, casualties of the deluge of Chrysallids. Lt. Rajan "Zeus" Pawar (Sniper) managed to hold out longer, but eventually fell in combat as well.
Rk. Dakka, Major Corvette, and Lt. Mary "Witchy" McLoughlin (Sniper) were surrounded on a rooftop, but managed to fight off all comers, with effort. Mutons, Berserkers, and Chrysallids came in waves, but broke on the wall that was Corvette's insane reflexes and aim, and McLoughlin's softening them from a distance. Dakka remained on clean-up duty, finishing off the broken and wounded once they were softened up by the two veterans.
Unfortunately, this required the neglect of the civilians, and the squad was only able to save 7 of 18 trapped in the terror zone. Major 1970 "Vandal" Corvette earned her promotion to Colonel...but at what cost?
 
 
OOC The Assault class' ability to take a shot at anything that moves within 4 squares is literally the only reason the squad didn't TPK again. Overwatch + That meant that any Chryssalid that tried to get close got nailed twice in the face, and fell to the ground smoking.

Boy those guys truly strive to ascend gaming as a medium huh
