      For a group gathering NEVER buy Dr. Pepper as the sole offering. Dr. Pepper is one of those "love it or hate it" sodas, and if a decent chunk of the class in on the "hate it" side...

      Yeah. Regular cola is always your safe bet, followed by root beer, orange soda, and a lemon-lime soda (that isn't Mountain Dew because it's another one of those like Dr. Pepper).
