The Daily SPUF's got a nice Halloween theme up. If you're not a fan, you can use the Theme Switcher in the side bar to switch back. The theme will remain as the main theme for this week and will be removed on the 15th, so enjoy it while you can.

I had a hypo-induced nightmare last night that a ton of SPUFers were dead and you were one of them.

So... I'm now back, I guess.
 
It really has been a long time. God damn real life stuff, sucking away all my free time. Add to that, that I've been trying to insulate myself from more and more prop. software. But... the call of FTL and, well, TF2 were too strong and so I just reinstalled steam. Hopefully I can start becoming a regular on these fair SPU Forums.

Aabicus introduces us to this one weird civilian everyone seems to really like.
 
I also did some tidying up, fixing up the FAQ page and the ToC page (that I kinda copied off one of my other websites that I run).

That's basically my sister's prompts, although she's gone a bit more specific with "cute witches".

So I decided to do a half-assed Inktober thing, with a theme of elemental beasts and powers. It'll be a varied bunch, but expect a lot of dragons.
 
That means 31 pictures, one a day, using some sort of ink. My art tool of choice is the humble biro, notably a shitty black pen with a rubber grip I got from Lidl, €1.20 for a pack of 5. As added challenge, I'm not allowed to use pencil, because that's not ink.

Okay these aren't all really elemental powers, but they're the sort of thing you can imagine someone using in a fantasy world. A bunch of them are Bionicle-based as well.

I know, it's so damn frustrating. It's boring as fuck fighting a bunch of clones and the only difference being a red aura and maybe a red health bar too. The changes don't even need to be huge, just subtle hues so you're not essentially fighting yourselves.
 
Actually, what if, in a team based game, the other team looked like robots and you didn't. But everyone would see the enemy team looking like robots and everyone would think THEY were the real deal?
