I followed this on reddit and assuming that is worthy of trust, one of the users replying to the report was in the same university as this guy. This kid lost both his parents last week, and the theory is that the combined trauma knocked him so far out of sanity that he's doing this shit. Before all this, he was just a regular 19 year old that frequently attended fraternity parties.
He leaves behind a younger brother who lost his entire family in one fell swoop.
