I saw a guy that I used to watch devolve into a baittuber in just a few months. It was both sad and extremely pathetic.
 
Face cam, clickbait ALL CAPS titles, open mouth reaction thumbnails, copying whatever the big streamers are doing, jumping immediately into the current trend, bending down to the algorithm, torturing himself with bad stuff because it "generates more clicks", demanding people to leave their PCs on to fake audience for advertisement streams, stopping doing stuff because it was "not getting views".
 
The first red flag was set during one stream I joined and noticed the views had dropped by almost half of what it was a few hours before, so I asked what happened and he immediately snapped thinking I was insinuating he lost views because he was ranting (again).
The second flag was set when he stopped a stream for one hour to review his blocked word list and it was entirely made of single words that made him mad, including common verbs and even a few colors.
Then what made me stop watching was when I joined a stream and , like always, every ""joke"" was "haha cock", "haha gay" or "haha doing your mom". I made a side comment saying "recently all his jokes are either "penis" or "haha gay"" and he once again snapped saying "fuck you, you are not even subscribed".

My new tablet arrived a few days ago. (Huion HS64)
 
Pros:
- Cheap
- Pressure levels are good
- Driver worked from get go
- Came with adapters for mini-usb and usb-c
- The rough surface is nice to draw on
- Pen is rubberized, feels nice to use
- Bigger drawing surface than my last tablet
 
Cons:
- Very small, about 3/5 the size of my last one. Not a problem, but I liked having the tablet on my lap and being bigger was perfect for that.
- A bit too sensible, was detecting micro jitters because I had it on my lap, putting it on a stable surface stops that
- Pen could be a bit heavier
- The USB cable does a 90º curve to the left, all my USB ports are at the right
 
I like it.

So, I got a new drawing tablet.

Had a bizarre dream that I went to some sort of "train convention" with my family.
 
I have no idea what it was about, but they had a bunch of different train models that you could enter and ride for a while, along horses, chariot races and a museum.
I was walking along the museum, when I pull a gnome keychain out of my pocket.
I notice it was broken, so I put it back before someone thought I stole it from somewhere from the museum.
I enter this unmarked door and it brings me to this MASSIVE underground arcade where I find my dad playing in some other of laser tag game where the guns are full sized guitars.
Nearby, I find this guy and his two sons, besides them there was this giant wall of old games and controllers. The kid gets near me and handles me a slightly bent copy of Ghostbusters for the NES.
I start to look around and I notice all these games are weird bootlegs, some were real games with the shells broken or scribbled on.
He also had a bunch of weird controllers for consoles like the Mega Drive and the Xbox 360. I remember one for the Mega Drive that had two analog nubs, but no buttons.
I ask him if he had any new 3 button Mega Drive or Xbox 360 controllers because I was needing some. He said he was going to look, but then I woke up.

I was doing something on my PC and found the old patch you had to install on the original to access the private server.
I click to start, and it actually works. It recognizes my old account and character, the screen brings me to the server select, and shows that there is one player online.
I walk around Prontera and find the other player. Apparently, he got the full source code and database of the server and was testing it when I joined, which is why I could use my old account and character.
I look around my character, inventory and stored items, and suddenly memories start to flood back. The events, the community, the in-jokes...
When I check the city again, a few more players start to pop up, like they never left.
For a brief moment, I am transported back to almost 15 years ago.
 
You know, I woke kinda happy today.

It is rather hilarious that they posted (on threads closed to comments) on how they "know" what is best for the game, how they "discussed internally" this and how they won't go back or discuss this because their mind is set.
They getting slammed on both Steam and Twitter, because this is the THIRD time they are editing stuff to scrub any sexualization from the game, but this time they went as far as removing art and editing the design of some characters.
 
First, they removed basically every panty shot from the game. Then they replaced one of the NPCs by this idiot that as far as I know, his entire personality is being black, gay and a furry.
Now they edited even more art (removing anything that looked barely sexual), removed a few scenes from the story (including a BIG one from the Big Band story mode), removed some voice lines, edited the design of the Black Egrets because they "looked too much like nazis" (their entire purpose was being an in-universe good version of the nazis), among some other things, like apparently they removed one entire announced because he was just a russian stereotype joke.
 
People fear the slippery slope will continue and more stuff will be censored soon, because there are rumors of some sort of shit happening internally and they are just deploying the smokescreen.

They are actually rewritting some Skullgirls parts and outright deleting scenes and art because its "pRoBlEmAtIc nOw yIkeS UmpHiEs".

There are like 10 cartoon channels, 6 of them are for babies/toddlers. Disney is either live action sitcons or Loud House. Nickelodeon is either Spongebob, Patrick, Spongebob Babies or live action sitcom.
 
Cartoon Network is a shadow of its former self, I looked at the channel schedule and it was 3 hours of Teen Titans GO, followed by Bare Bears Babies, Total Drama Babies, Gumball and some shitty obligatory by law brazillian cartoons, followed by another 3 hours of Teen Titans Go. ITS ALL THEY SHOW, THE ENTIRE SCHEDULE WAS 70% TEEN TITANS GO. THIS SERIES HAS 400 EPISODES WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
 
Dreamworks has an entire channel to "low quality shows of our animated movies".
 
The only channel worth watching is Tooncast because it only runs old cartoons (early 2000s ones), shame that the Boomerang channel that used to show really old cartoons changed into live action sitcoms then was nuked.
 
Its times like these that I really miss the old schedule, weird cartoons played early in the morning (I remember some show about Tripplets and a witch), at the start of the afternoon they started with shows like Shaolin Showdown, Toonami started at 17:00 with Pokemon, followed by Dragon Ball, Inuyasha and Zatch Bell. Followed by Cartoon Cartoons from 19:00 to 22:00, having a mix of Dexter, Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel, Johnny Bravo, Megas XLR, Time Squad, Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd n Eddy, and several others. Then after that, it was Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck Show for one hour, ending with the Tex Avery Show.
Adult Swim wasn't from my time, but I remember stuff like Evangelion and other animes playing after midnight.
 
Was the Locomotion channel available in other countries? I remember it was mostly adult anime, I still remember stuff like Agent Aika, Burn Up Excess and Saber Marionette from there.

Tales of a New PC: Part 3.
 
Noticed that my headset was only getting detected after two tries or if I start the PC with them connected.
 
Looked at the configs to see if the popups were being blocked, but no. Disabled and reenabled them, activated notifications. Didn't work.
Checked the Realtek drivers, nothing seemed to be wrong.
Checked the four difference audio apps, nothing.
Uninstalled the drivers and let Windows reinstall them. Worked, but because of some kind of black magic, it would reinstall the other drivers after 20 seconds, even after I marked to delete the old drivers.
Went on device manager and made the audio change to the windows audio drivers, worked but if there was no sound for a few seconds, the headset would make a "click" and then do a REALLY LOUD noise the second some sound played, as if the headset was being connected in the port.
Uninstalled every app and driver, disabled their services, blocked their tasks on the scheduler. Still reinstalling itself.
Decided that is my life now, reinstalled everything and returned everything like it was. Now it stopped detecting my headset, even if I click on the popup. Sometimes just closing the popup was making it detect the headset, so what the fuck?
Reinstalled drivers, AGAIN. Still weird.
Went into the audio app and marked to not ask or show the popup. THAT fixed it, even after I restarted the pc, it still detects the headset automatically.

Got a new PC, came with Windows 11.
Looks like shit. Runs like shit. Doesn't lets me disable "features" I will never use.
 
"Look at all these cool apps and features that came pre-installed! Pretty neat huh?"
No, uninstall them all.

This start menu sucks ass, give me the classic one.
"No."

"No! Too many people liked the classic start menu without ads and usability, so we disabled it with an update. Now you are forced to use the worse menu!"
