    I just watched Evil Dead for the first time and it was very good

      Really? I heard the 2013 one was pretty good. What little I saw of it, it seemed genuinely scary, unlike the original which was awesome but camp-tastic (which may be why people didn't like the remake as much).

      Im not too much into horror, really. The terribad CGI and Bruce Campbell's insane expressions is what made the film for me

      Evil Dead 2 is sort of a remake? The original Evil Dead was a straight horror film so they kind of rebooted it. The first third of Evil Dead 2 is a remake and then it diverges from the source material, I guess you could say.
