So I wanted to see how SPUF dying affected image results, and noticed something weird in the search for my name.
 
Historically my search results were all SPUF, since I've never used this name except in a SPUF related capacity.  We still have a bit of results from SPUF proper (though they are sadly disappearing), but the bottom is all results from some weird German diet scam site.  Apparently my name shows up in some gibberish in the page code.  I wonder what sort of automated text harvesting resulted in that.

CS:S and HL2M and whatnot all got their voice chat updated to use TF2's and CS:GO's. I thought they were done with engine fixes for those games since the last one they did was a year ago, but I never expected them to port over the better voice chat.

I don't believe we've ever advertised as some kind of safe space or somewhere that censors other people. I get enough of that kind of moderation on the Paizo forums (where every vaguely controversial statement from "I don't like this product you made" to "You know I think that feminist rally got kind of out of hand" is scrubbed and all responses to it are likewise scrubbed), and have no desire to carry it over to here.
 
We don't make a habit of removing posts unless they're extremely offensive (intense gore/shock imagery or porn outside the designated private subforum) or are clearly flamebait/trolling or otherwise likely to spiral way out of control. This is not either scenario. With the influx of new members, forum rules/guidelines may need to be updated to make this clearer.
 
Raison had his say, everybody dogpiled him, pretty much, we all learned things about each other, and we went back to memeing and playing vidya together the next day. Everybody got their say, and I feel like there are less hard feelings than if discussion had been shut down altogether.

I don't think the mods are going to censor Raison's opinions regardless of people's disagreement with it. Nor should they.

As long as you're not actively promoting violence against a group of people you can say basically whatever you want in here

I did not bump an 8 month old post. I responded to a thread that had been bumped a few hours beforehand.
I'm just shocked that the blatant racism has been allowed to stay.

If you want a second mod opinion, I also agree with Raz. And I was the main one arguing with Raison before.
 
If you have something concrete to add to this thread, please do. As far as I'm concerned the discussion about nationalism/ethnocentricity with Raison is done, however. Not saying you can't disagree with any opinion espoused by any member of this thread (or others), and it would be hypocritical of me to say you must disagree POLITELY, but do so coherently and specifically.

I don't know what forums you were member of previously, but responding to few months old post with nothing to add to the thread is not very welcome behavior. Ignoring most of the post and just saying "this is bullshit, so rest of it must also be so", is also rude. If you want to discuss something, please do, but if you don't, just ignore the post, instead of saying that post is not worthy to being responded to.
Please, keep your responses up to a higher standard, no matter what opinions of other posters are, it's not a youtube comment section.

Please, with all these new people coming around, its opened new sources of rep deposits. Just because you don't know how to exploit the rep-ugees doesn't mean you should prevent those who can, ya dirty red.
