Tried to log in today because I finally got an itch to write about some of my Payday stuff after I hit a major personal accomplishment today of beating Panic Room in under two minutes. Unfortunately I don't remember if I ever got a manual account and my typical passwords aren't working for hugthebed2. Would you mind resetting it or something?

But for real. Here's a bit of practice with speed lines.

Today's article is on Loadout, the Richard Nixon of shooters. I still love Loadout and it was the best game of it's time back when it first came out, shame what ended up happening to it. If only they'd used the annoying-but-lucrative crate system and kept it cosmetic only, we might still have one of the best arena shooters on Steam.
I've actually been considering running an "event" for SPUFers to meet up and play some rounds of Loadout together. It's still just sitting there, even if it's deader than a doorknob shaped like a disco ball, we could have a private match if enough people were willing.
(In other news, new SPUF of Legend on the recent 12v12 glitch in Overwatch and how Blizzard should make it an official game mode)

I appreciate the mention, but I INSIST ON THE WEDNESDAY ON OR AFTER THE 16TH BECAUSE OF THE HUMP DAY ALLUSION!
TRUE Jump Day is on the 20th, this year!

RIP Sticky Jumper. May you rest in peace. To everyone else, happy Jump day!
Apparently this file still exists.

Medic goes to Cyprus Comic Con 2017 AND goes back to basics in Warframe! Double article day!
I love these rare articles that are updated throughout a day :D It's fun popping back to see what's happened since... Also, reading the article on Volt made me feel bad for my own I played from a year or two ago. In the same way you feel bad when you return to your town in Animal Crossing after WAY too long.

That's the reason I quit Overwatch competitive mode.
Worst part is, you have no idea how toxic the environment becomes after you reach Diamond.
You will get mercilessly (pun not intended) reported by:
Not playing the season meta. Being too good on some instances (enemy team will most likely file a report under "cheating") Being the only Platinum ranked player while all your teammates are Diamond and above, and your team loses. Picking Bastion. Picking Hanzo/Widowmaker without a golden weapon equipped. After season 4, I stopped recommending Overwatch to pretty much anyone. Specially after the salty competitive tryhards decided to vent their rage on Quick Play and start to judge casual players by their competitive rank or lack of golden weapons.
Its utterly disgusting to say the least and Blizzard is taking too much time do something about it.

Nope. Valve make easy money, why should they try to make money the hard way?
Today, I have a look at Destiny 2. In the open beta. After a painfully long download.

Amazing article as always.
Been wondering for a while how the game would be seen from the eyes of someone who never played it before.
From day one, I feared Destiny 2 might scare away potential new players, specially those on PC, with poorly introduced stuff right from the start.
I will probably try writing a follow-up draft from the perspective of a veteran during the weekend. Gonna have to set up my Ol' Xbox so I can source some screencaps from Destiny 1 (don't think articles with zero images will make a good first impression).
Still a shame that even long dedicated Destiny fans like myself consider the new game a risky investment right now.

aabicus highlights his favourite articles amongst Medicinal Warlock's personal collection! I'd say Painkiller was my personal favourite. It just nails why the game delivers such a good experience. That said, -5 internet points for advising to skip the cutscenes. Yes, they're god awful, but in terms of cheese? It's a pure, unadulterated gold mine. I laughed so hard during some of those cutscenes I felt light-headed.

Capture sounds like an awesome idea. Wish more games had something like that.

The one thing I want in Overwatch is 24, 36, or even 64-player servers. They'll probably need larger maps to make it work, but the best part of TF2 is when there is uncontrollable chaos on the battlefield and nobody feels this pressure to be godly because everyone washes out in the spam.

Aren't you going to give credit to the Library of Babel, from where you clearly stole this post?
I love this site. I used to send pages containing my friend's fanfictions and remind them they need to give credit for plagiarizing their story from this website. I mean, look, the Library's been carrying that exact text since May 2015, how can you claim you just wrote your fanfiction last night?

Sorry, but that's not particularly creative. I feel like you've read it in a book or something.
Granted, the entirety of this response is also unoriginal and sourced from the same text, so I guess originality was preemptively considered by the very source from whence it came.

Can you read this version any better? It's probably all the GIFs. I was splurging because my new computer has two graphics cards and can crank them out in seconds.

"Moving forward, only tradable items can be gift wrapped. Items that are currently gift wrapped can be delivered regardless of the tradability of the contents of the gift. " According to the TF2 Wiki for Gift Wrap. I forgot about that until you mentioned it. That's sucky :(
Appreciate the offer but it seems Valve doesn't like the idea :P Fortunately, the year or two I spent pining for it taught me I could live without it. I just think it's cool. Just not cool enough for that much real money D:

It's like a mini-archive :D ...That must of taken forever D: Nice article for the milestone! Certainly made for a nice, relaxing read after I spent an afternoon smashing a sofa to bits... (I was going to add context but I think it's funnier if I don't.)
