Despite things I've said, this is an extremely good video

I'm more on that boat. The DNC did everything in thier power to get people to like Trump, thinking he would be an easy opponent to beat, and oush off Sanders, because he'd change too much. Debbie Schultz accepted bribe after bribe to ensure that Clinton would win. Untold amounts of voter suppression, media control. Sanders even said he was getting blackmailed. Schultz quit her job as the head of the DNC to be in Clinton's cabinet. She was bought and paid for from the beginning. Trump did what he did and it worked and I'm pissed about that. But I'm equally pissed that there was such deep corruption from the Democrats. It's just truly insane.

Seems like a decent explanation, yeah. And before Caveson comes in, no he was not saying the same thing as Crowder. Crowder's argument is insulting people pushed them towards Trump. This guy's is that the Democratic campaign and supporters spent too much time throwing those insults and did nothing to draw them towards Clinton. So given a choice between a candidate that had no policies, and a candidate with bumfuck stupid policies, the latter was at least a bit more clear about what he wanted to do. That I can agree with.

Oh no, I'm with you on that one. Both of the videos actually share the same basic theme if you think about it: Democrats shot themselves in both feet with this election.

Trump really is uniquely unqualified to be president. We've had bad presidents before but Trump is legitimately fucking terrifying. He's a loose cannon who more or less believes in using overwhelming force to crush his enemies (this is well-established in his shady business practices and his tendency to come after people with his team of crack lawyers), but this time, his enemies are the American people at large. We know this to be the case because the American people at large did not elect him, and he's been open about curtailing free speech and civil liberties for just about anyone he deems to be an enemy of the state (or, more accurately, a critic of his regime). The president really does have a fuckton of power, equal to at least 1/3 of Congress, which -- by the way -- is controlled by the people nearest to being his ideological allies. Let's not forget that the biggest threats to humanity today could potentially wipe us out within the century, none of them are ISIS or even tangentially related to Islam, and they've all been completely ignored or outright denied by Trump. He's going to choose at least one supreme court justice, the heads of several federal agencies, he's going to have authority over both the military and our nuclear arsenal and you can rest assured that he's not going to get any more intelligent within the next month. We already have extrajudicial killings going on daily both at home and abroad, despite crime rates being at an all time low and there not being a single credible threat to our national security, but Trump has advocated for the expansion of the military both overseas and within our borders. Unless by some turn of events he hits a very late puberty and grows the fuck up, we are more or less guaranteed to have the worst four years since the civil war but, owing to the increasing consolidation of power occurring both under the status quo and under the new authoritarian regime, these four years might very well be our last. But hey, anyone who didn't vote for him is just a PC policeman hurt feelings liberal who wants to fill our country with Mexicans and institute Sharia law, am I right?

Does anyone else feel like everyone's hitting the Doomsday button a little prematurely here? Seriously, calm down a little and stop acting like you're living in the middle of Iraq suddenly and realize that even if Trump fucks up massively, he will be up for re-election again in four years, and you can try to get rid of him then. Seriously, with all this knee-jerk reaction, I'm worried that half this country will be suffering from arthritis in the next 2 years.

For those of you scared, rightfully or not, I suggest getting a gun and learning to use it for self-defense (if not for general enjoyment). You can buy a Hi-Point for a bit over $200 (state to state may vary.), a few boxes of FMJ for training shooting and a box of hollow points for use. Cheap shotguns will run you a similar amount, if you have a preference. Get a CCW if you can, carry especially if you don't feel safe. If the racists/state-sanctioned right wing death squads/rioters/burglars are what you see as a severe problem, at least do what you can for yourself as the Constitution says. If they come for you, you'll have a response. I'm not trying to be a meme here. There's a reason there's a Second Amendment, for when the citizens feel that they can not trust the government or those that would seek to harm them. This applies to MANY people right now.
