Because animals shit anywhere they want.

That may sound good at first, but shit smells and nobody's going to clean it up because every other animal is busy either eating you, being eaten by you, or eating your shit and making more shit.

Life is generally shit and the reason why being human rocks is because we are the only animal that effectively disposes of their shit.
