I was going to wait until the last second to join up (i.e. when SPUF had actually officially died) but it's almost impossible to post anything with those database errors. -

1 pointAs tempted as I was to introduce myself in the "SPUF Refuge thread", I thought my long story deserved a separate thread instead. Over the period of almost eight years I visited spuf on daily basis. However, unlike most users, I've only stayed there to read about the discussions of the community without sharing my thoughts... until now. Back when I discovered spuf, I was a high school student, and TF2 was on its golden age. Now I'm an old college student who aims to graduate as a Game Designer. Needless to say that the first memory that still comes to my mind when someone mentions "spuf" was when some guy named "Huff" decided to bring the TF2 community together... or else. Then a year later this happened. After that I started to lurk the forums even more, specially after I found out a masterpiece written by SirActionPants known as "Discovering the secrets of the Tradeamous-Ignoramus tribe: an expedition" (now forever lost in the dark corners of time ) which I used to point out every time someone asked about the early days of Steam trading. Years later, CS:GO took over. And since I wasn't fond of the franchise I migrated to Destiny and other games. In the meantime, I've also learned what "Reddit" was and started lurking there as well. On occasion I would also check Facepunch. However, every now and then I would still check spuf to read how the community was doing and the news The Medic would come up with on spuf.org. What motivated me into opening Chrome and heading into spuf, even after I stopped being a regular on TF2, is a mystery to myself. Either way, its good to see that spuf's story is not over. While I can't say the same about TF2, there are many games out there to discuss about. If any of you are wondering if that game called "Destiny 2" on PC is worth a look ask me away. I would highly recommend it if you enjoy a more community driven experience. "Atheon's Spuf's story is still being written. The wielder holds the pen."

Pretty well, yeah. Oh dear, I forgot about the obligatory body part jokes. You're free to have my brain, I never use it anyway. -

Today I decided to get back to The Sims 3 because why the hell not. Then I'm troubled to find that I had nothing more than 3 families with really distinct progress between each other. There was my character and his daughter (who was a robot he built), my character and a goth muse (which also was a witch) and my character, a female martian and a ghost. The logic solution was to merge all 3 families (and pit my 3 versions between each other, only one would survive) into some sort of massive harem. -
