See, here's my problem with banning guns. It's practically impossible anymore. They have multiple-shot automatic guns that can be created in a 3D printer with nothing but a nail for the firing pin. 20 years ago? Maybe. Shut down the manufacture and sales and eventually they'll dwindle out. But now, within the next few years, they can have reliable firearms that are entirely untraceable and unregulated. Made in some basement or bunker.
So hypothetically we've banned civilian guns. That's great. But now we have an entirely unarmed, vulnerable populace. And then we have criminals who ARE armed, facing no resistance. (So it's better to train well-minded civilians on how to handle these items as a deterrence, as opposed to disarming everyone. But that's another discussion.)
Not only that, but as mentioned here, there are other tools- bombs, knives, chemicals. Just because we take away guns doesn't mean that we are safe from all harm. If someone wants to do evil, they will find a way.

I don't think banning guns will help prevent terrorist attacks when terrorist attacks use weapons already banned like AK-47s, hand grenades, and suicide vests. Hell they didn't need anything more than boxcutters for 9/11.

Hey man. Most things are the same, we got a new version of the forum software that made everything worse for the users but apparently better for the nerds behind the scenes, XYTWO unfortunately passed away about a year ago, and Guy had a sex change so please refer to them as a female from now on.

First day Steam Controller/Link thoughts:
Link: Works exactly as advertised. Hooks up, streams very well. Exceptionally lightweight, even the steam interface is streamed.
Controller: Going to take a long time to get used to. Customization is very in-depth. Was playing Half Life 2 as a test, ran out of things to bind buttons to. Can edit settings almost instantly in and out of game. Haptic feedback is really freaking cool. Doesn't seem to work on my left pad though. Gonna try xcom or civ with it next, then Broforce or something. Better aiming for FPSses then a controller once you get used to it, but still nothing compared to kb+m.
