Maybe? Origin really isn't THAT bad unless you're trying to install a game from disc (MY GOD IS IT TERRIBAD THEN THOUGH) and BF3 is breddy gud.

The one thing I will give Origin is that it doesn't eat resources like Steam does. When I downloaded The Sims 3 off of Origin, I could still surf the web and so could anyone else on my network. Normally with Steam, I can't use the internet and neither can anyone else, really.

I'm more concerned about the spywarey file scans that Origin has. As for discs, that shouldn't be too big of a concern.
