Hostages are there to be traded when someone gets in custody and to make your life harder during stealth and shootings, as they can start the alarm and makes you lose money if you kill them. Stealth in Payday 2 is 'Do not let the alarm go off' rather than 'Do not be spotted', there are a lot of variables on this, like cameras, doors, your drills, bystanders and guards. You can destroy cameras on all settings but Deathwish, where they are invincible Titan Cameras, but you can also deactivate the cameras by either finding the control room or using the Ghost skill to scramble the signal for some time. If a guard spots a destroyed camera, broken window, picklocked door, hears your drill, sees a corpse, etc, they will start to sound the alarm and you have seconds to kill them. After you kill a guard, you need to awnser the pager, you have some seconds to do so, there is a limit on how many times you can do it, but I dont remember. You can also bag the body to carry it around, everyone starts with one bag, a Ghost skill can add another and be able to buy an asset that adds a case with another 3 somewhere in the map. The pager needs to be answered within 12.5 seconds, and it takes ten seconds to answer one. The alarm goes off after 5 pagers so you can answer 4 safely. Hostages also delay assault waves. The more you have, the longer the downtime between them. -
2 pointsHELLOOOOOOOOO SUBSPUF, AND WELCOME TO SLICK VS SPYCICLE: The Australian Affray, the Southern Hemisphere Skirmish! It's the school holidays in Australia, and we will be racing through HG (him) and SS (me), allotted two hours a day to get as far as possible! Whoever finishes the game first is the winner! Starts tomorrow (Aussie time), I guess. Good luck Spycicle, every now and then I'll probably post pointless progress updates in this thread.

Ermmm...I killed you quite a few times. Besides that first round (which you started without asking anyone if they were ready, so we were all scrambling to get back to our desks/back in the game/etc.), our points were pretty close with whoever those other guys were. Especially once you stopped running the damn Heavy, and I got my bearings enough not to get killed by Corv every few seconds (IIRC besides the illegal Heavy killing me a couple of times, and Icecubes, Corv was the only person who killed me). But we can rematch some time if you want. -

Your best thing to do is do the Safe House tutorial and then look some some Steam guide.

EA just showed a bit more of The Sims 4. -Removed Create-a-style to sell as a later DLC -Removed babies to sell it as a later DLC -Removed pools to sell it as a later DLC -Can only use 4GB RAM due being 32-bit only -You cant change height and teens have the same height as adults 12/10 would buy what is basically 50% of The Sims 3 content at full price and repurchase all the $900 of the same DLC that could already be added. -

Try to ignore the story for maximum fun. It's not difficult since they don't try really hard to immerse you or anything.
