"Which is a service they have not offered before." Are you choking my balls, dude? There is maybe half a day's worth of coding between the old workshop and the paid workshop. To say they deserve 25% of the proceeds for that is insane. How the fuck can you see them getting 1/4 of the money and think they're not being greedy? Valve is getting the same amount as the modder. Would you sell something you made for 25% of the sale price? No, you'd be out of business the next goddamn day. Which is why it's stupid to say this will help modders. It's not fucking supporting the modders, it's supporting Valve and the developers, for doing maybe, MAYBE 5% of the work, with the modders getting a sliver.

I don't think Valve is actually greedy. Everything they throw out has some kind of compromise, and seems like it came from a good idea. This whole thing could've been implemented far worse, for example, no pay what you want system. The idea "Hey, maybe modders can get paid for their work!" isn't a bad one. This was just a bad way to do it. I don't think Valve is greedy, but they're far, far from infallible. You don't charge 25% for something you already were doing for free and have the infrastructure for and not be greedy. A 25% cut is insane. It's mind-boggling. It's 2.5x as much as Ebay, which a lot of people that sell their shit there will tell you, 10% is a fucking lot. 25% is the American tax rate for somebody who has an average income, which, by the way, also means 25% of that 25% cut the modder get goes to taxes. I think that the reason Valve is hunting down donation links so much is because you cannot legally take a cut of donations.

Uh, what? This is just an effort to stop spammers and phishers. All you have to do is spend 5 dollars, jesus christ. This has nothing to do with the mod fiasco. It has actually been in effect for a little while now.

I'll probably end up watching Hamatora, Wizard Barristers, Nobunaga the Fool, Space Dandy, Oneechan ga Kita, Sekai Seifuku, Neppu Kairiku Bushi Road, and maybe Noragami.

You know, I remember being sad back when Toonami was canceled. Then a few years later when it got resurrected, I realized I no longer cared because Nyaa was easily accessible and anything Toonami was showing I had already seen. Now I just want it to die again. Everyone and their mother who's only ever watched five series comparing every anime to Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and The Big O was and still is awful, I can't imagine if the mainstream audience suddenly latched onto something modern like SAO. Shit's already bad enough.

Don't be silly, Attack on Titan aired during the Spring season, and we're currently in the middle of Fall. And even then, Oregairu and Hataraku Maou-sama were the best shows in Spring.

I seriously have no idea what people see in Attack on Titan. Other than the fact that it's attracted more casuals in recent years than Cowboy Bebop.

Kaminai is a great series, but the last thirty seconds of the ending are confusing unless you've read the LN, which isn't translated. I dunno, you could probably ask me about that once you finish it since I know the context behind it.

Not really. It may be the most popular shonen manga running at the moment, but not the most successful series to ever exist in Japan.

No, you fucker, you're supposed to read the VN first anyways. Plus the ending is nigh incomprehensible without it.
