    Have to put in a resume for the summer job I'm looking for. It feels so damn barren, with only my extensive Information Technology experience on it. Hoepfully I'll be able to put this job on a resume eventually, just so it doesn't look so damn barren.

      What Wit said, it all has to do with the Doppler effect - anything red is moving away from you really fast. If the LEDs were blue or violet that would mean they're approaching you really fast, which could end disastrously for you.
