Funny, did that today as well. Whole lot of running around, not knowing what to do, where to go, and how exactly I'm meant to have fun for me. Just kept getting into these enormous clusterfucks and getting killed by people who had triple-digit "ranks" and the game was telling me about "ribbons" and "certs" and I had no goddamn idea what it meant so I gave up.   No, let me tell you about planetside.   Do you like FPS's? Do you like planes? Do you like tanks? Do you like scifi? Do you like having things to shoot at? Do you wish other games had more things to shoot at? Yes? Planetside has that. No seriously. It's a bit daunting at first, but once you get the basics, its really fun. Hit me up next time you are online and I'll run you through the ropes.

About to head into town for some felt for a new project. Spoiler

The poll options for CS:GO are terrible.   CS:GO isn't like every other shooter out there in that it places a heavy emphasis on skill, and you need to play the game a lot if you want to do well. However, that's not to say that you can't have fun with it at a low level, but it definitely is a lot more serious and one-dimensional than TF2 is.   In particular, TF2 is much more about good movement than it is about good aim (unless you're playing Sniper). In CS:GO, good aim is a lot more important - except for boosting, movement is a whole lot simpler: be still when shooting, walk to avoid making noise, run if neither matters, and don't ever crouch.
