Except no other party HAS in the history of the country though. They're talking about stalling for ELEVEN MONTHS. The maximum amount of time we've ever gone without a full complement of Justices is like four months, and even THAT was a huge outlier. TBF the time required has increased considerably over the years from the quick research I've done, but the average of the last couple of decades has been hovering around 60-90 days, not ~350 (at a minimum. If their intent is to stall until after Obama is out there's no guarantee it wouldn't then take another 60-90 days to instate a new candidate as well). The Supreme Court is basically crippled for that entire duration, which is kind of a big deal, especially when the only reason it would be so is because of Republican dick waving.

Going to finally see Force Awakens at Movie Tavern tomorrow. Not really a big Star Wars fan, but I will gladly take a free Movie Tavern visit with paid dinner. Chief paid for our tickets and gave us a $60 food allowance, she said it was for Valentine's Day, but it's really just a family outing, minus Chief! We wanted tickets to go see Deadpool, but the only seats we could get were front row, and as comfy as the chairs are, fuck front row seats at movie theaters.
