Decided to go to /a/ after my morning dota only to realize that the new Little Witch Academia has released and I completely missed it. Read the sticky on the board and then realized that the 1080p version was removed from nyaa. I was too late, now I'm stuck with the 720p one.

Clannad in general has a tendency to do that. It's an adaptation of a Key VN, after all.

And.. I just finished marathoning NouCome. Damn it, now I have to actually wait for new episodes. And the worst part is that there's only ten episodes total, so this show won't even last until Christmas.

So, after dropping Yuushibu (best girl wasn't enough to keep me going), I picked up NouCome. Which.. is also a slice of life with a predominately female cast and a male main character, but this is pretty enjoyable so far. The ED song sounds like something out of an action anime though, which is odd. Also, I'm watching way too many series this season. Plus I'm thinking of also picking up Kyousougiga after this.

What are you talking about? Another was the best comedy anime of 2012.

So, I just watched the latest episode of Samurai Flamenco. My mind is full of fuck, I don't even know what to say. This is like, Evangelion levels of mindscrew.

Both of them involved use of plans that required certain events to play out in ways that the respective characters couldn't reliably manipulate or predict, however. Not all the time, mind you, but it comes up.

Death Note has no real similarities with Code Geass other than both of the main characters being ridiculous planners. As for Clannad.. well, can't really help you out there other than saying Kyou and Tomoyo were best girls. Granted, it's an adaptation of a Key VN, so you can expect a lot of drama later on if the first three episodes seemed like a typical slice of life. Whatever that means, anyways. Not really sure if there's any point to watching After Story if you end up not enjoying the first season though.
